Rainbow Six Las Vegas is on the U3 Engine.

ATI's DX10 card should be out soon. We'll have to wait and see how it does in benchmarks. At the moment, I got a 1900XT (512mb version), which is far than enough for games atm.

Like mikkado and Sephie mentionned, you're better off waiting and see what's available in a couple of months. Plus, most of the big game titles I can think of only come out in Q4 of 2007. (Bioshock is scheduled to be released in August)

Anyways, nice card, you won't be needing an upgrade anytime soon

Definatly not the time to buy. AMD is supposedly releaseing their new card later this month and the N has a bunch of cards ready to steal the wind from AMD's sails as soon as they try to release their 2900's. We've got plenty of time to play wait and see. Personally, I would say wait for huxley to release and see how it runs on your system if it's not so great then look you'll have a lot more options of next gen stuff and they will not cost as much.

There is going to be a price drop in C2D prices as well later this month. So like I said it's definately time to play the game of wait and see.

Talking Re: How Will Huxley Run On My G80

i think everybody should get a g80 for gaming performance lol cause i have 1 and its awesome at least the 8500 or 8600 series their all good video cards for ati dunno much about them, but i think the hd 2900 xt should do a pretty good job even tho its not hd lol

If ATI ever gets on the ball with new hardware, we could see some really high performance/price later this year.

Yes I am running the 8800 320MBx2 and its pretty amazing

EDIT: I upgraded now instead of later because i have a hook up at a local pc store...and i plan on playing Quake Wars when its out in July???

As far as I'm aware, ETQW is still in "it's done when it's done but we hope soon" phase; Quakecon is the first week of August (I'll be there), so you can probably expect they'll either release a few weeks before so that QCon can run an ETQW tourney, or make an announcement there and release it a little later, or possibly even wait til christmas (with UT3 in the same "when it's done" philosophy, it'll be interesting to see how the timing pans out with these releases).

I know a lot of people who are playing the beta right now, and they definitely say that this modified version of the D3 engine is even more of a system hog than Prey/Q4/D3. So even if your system runs Q4 fine, you still might have to upgrade for ETQW; in that situation you'd probably have to upgrade for UT3 and definitely for Crysis anyways -- not sure about TF2.
