I'll never play games for money, what's the point in playing a game then? it's turned into work and no fun. Those tourneys are pointless, next you will see people getting rich off of being the fastest nose picker.

Well first let me say I am happy to hear the game is not dead in the water! We lose a lot of cool games when they drop off the main stream radar. Second I would like to protest this particular type of game being beta tested in korea only. It is a known fact that FPS is a western thing. Almost all FPS are made in America or Europe. I can only think of maybe 2 that were not. With this being said wouldn't it make more sense for them to beta it here where we take them seriously? If you want to know who much they are loved look at the following behind games like Farcry and the up coming Crysis. Oh well I will stop ranting. I just hope the game finishes the beta and drops as early as Q1 2008. If not I am sure it will soon be considered vapor ware here in the states and that would be a shame.

Back to the original comments about American gaming companies... Anyone heard of Bungie, I think they are doing pretty well? Yes it is a console FPS but alot of people seem to like Halo.

I personally can't stand it, but the numbers don't lie.

Not everyone can own a Ferrari, some have to settle for an XBOX 360.
Think about it.

Man could have sworn I had made an account a while ago heh, we'll got it now ha. I'm a big fan of Bungie, since the days of Marathon and beyond and I do gotta say is that at least 60-70% of the people who like Halo are idiots. I love the game myself, but if you've played any matchmaking on either Halo 2 or 3, then I'm sure you've run into a good amount of these stupid people. Halo is the most played game on xbox and the release of Halo 3 was one of the biggest things in entertainment so of course Bungie is doing something right haha. I like the company that makes the game, and I'm actually really looking forward to whatever they plan on working on next.

Some of the biggest titles in gaming have came outta America, World of Warcraft being a huge one, the GTA's, Half-Life, Counter-Strike, The Sims, tons of others, I said the Sims because that game has actually an insane amount of sales like alot of these games, I can't even think of some, but there's plenty more out there that are great games and were developed in America. Any of the Tom Clancy games that have hit shelves have done great, I've boughten a a good amount of them myself. Off topic though of course haha

Def can't wait for Huxley though, I'll be getting it for the 360 most likely so still a whiles away, I really hope a beta is put out, maybe something like how SEGA did with PSU? (=

are they going to release a xbox 360 beta??? i know when ffxi came out for the 360 they opened a beta server to check for probs with cross platform etc..

It's only in Korea. But I belive I read somewhere that they will have an opened beta sometime...

I just about had a stroke when i read the title of this thread, too bad it's not in North America. Anyway, as off topic as this may be, I sent an e-mail to the Webzen team asking about open and closed betas in North America, this was the response:

Dear Hickey

I’m Yanghun Kim with PR team of Webzen

First of all, we all appreciate of your interesting about Huxley.

Commercial launching of Huxley will be in the first half of 2008 in Korea, and U.S. gamers (passively including Canadian) can meet Huxley after three months later than Korean.
So, You may meet PC version of Huxley in the beginning of the second half of 2008 in U.S..
No specific payment system and exact date for the service are settled yet.

We plan, definitely, to publish Huxley on Xbox 360 as well as online PC version.
However, Huxley for Xbox 360 will be shown up 6months later than PC version done.
