Huxley Beta Has Launched!

It's a game and we didn't hear shit from people when World of Warcraft got released after a 5 year delay. These guys just made the mistake of picking a release date, give them a break.

As for no good shooters from asians... You might have a point, but there weren't alot of asian shooters to compare with. As for Blood, gore and action. Take a look at European movies and asian, hell yeah i'd like some asian gore in my game. I'm sick and tired of people trying to protect my brains from something.

So stop whining. If you want a game you can install and play without any regards to skill or brains, go play Call of Duty or Battlefield(no offenses on BF, but 12yo's).
This won't be just a game to play, because 20v20 battlegrounds is kind of low since we're used to 40v40 or 60v60. But it's an MMOFPS with alot of RPG elements. This game needs calibration.

To put a final to it. I've started playing Age of Conan in between now just for fun. And AoC isn't even a finished game yet. Be glad there are several Closed and Open Beta's around this game. It will only help the developers finalise and polish their product before we get to install it.

Amen! I've heard AoC has lots and lots of bugs and the classes aren't balanced (though I suppose a game could be around for 500 yrs and people would still complain about some class being overpowered)

It's not so much the delays that Huxley is getting, I completely understand delaying the game to make it better and I'd much rather have delays than have a rushed and broken game.

It's just the lack of information that gets a lot of people agitated. Not knowing if the game is ever going to come out, seeing the "official" Huxley site, Huxleyvs.com go down without any warning. And now waiting to see what's going to happen with Huxley and ijji.com (I still haven't seen anything about Huxley on ijji.com).

I'm not worried though, I figure it'll come out sooner or later and I'm willing to wait. Plus the info about the apparent open beta (probably in korea) is good news :D

Yeah when i first figured out how to get quake online, i played it for 24 hours straight, since then there hasnt been a game that has inspired that kind of Intensity in my game play. This should be the next, after the footage i've seen.

As a matter of fact, I believe the Asian countries have a wider game crowd than America. Alot of games are developed in Korea and Japan. It's no surprise. American games are usually football and Leisure Suit Larry.

As far I know in Korea is Vgames dedicated TV channel where you can just watch other people play on line, or Tournaments are broadcast live.

I agree. Asians are way more ingenuitive and thourough than most of the American developers. They have a much larger gaming and anime fan base than America. And also a very true statement, most American games are sports and pointless nothings like games based off of movies (eeek)

trust me if your on the 360 we will know everything about a beta test via the spotlight and events page i got good hopes for this game to become the domanant game on live and i hope we get some news about it soon ...maybe a trailer just to jumpstart the game for live players not many know about it but lots say we need a game like it

Huxley would definitely be awesome on the 360.

I plan on playing on PC but I can definitely seeing it being a huge game for console players.

I will wait this game. I just got games Batman: Arkham Asylum, Mass effect: Pinnacle Station,Splosion Man. Thre are wonderful. I like playing games when i need a relax, so I got X-box 360.
