Good evening lady's and Gentlemen. This will be my first post on the forums however i have been checking up on them quite abit over the last couple months, always excitied to see wat other people have found out about the game.
I have some information that i would like to share with the rest of the community, hopefully it is new to most of you. From August 2006's Computer Gaming World: All the stuff i will be posting was taken out of the magazine. The frag system: "Locate a transport and hop a ride to the battle map of your choice: Deathmatch, Capture the flag to 100 v 100 pvp battles." Now from the pic that was with the little comment it would seem that you go up too a ATM looking machine and can pick which zone you go in. Of course it did not say anything about quest zones or anything like that. Battle Map "Once your in a battle map, you'll greet your team mates, straiegize, then scramble to secure key locations.You can dig in and try and hold the point or leave it to chance and hope it doesnt get taken.Deciding wat to do in situtations like this will often hinge on wat your squad commander wants." Most likely they were talking about caputure the flag maps or something like that. FINALY the most cool part i thought. "Four player squads are really going to be central to game play.Squad leaders can help up fallen members,speed their sheilds up or Hp recovery,Increase their attack and Defence points depending on squad type." They also went on to talk about how say you have a squad that has like 15 people in it. It will be penalized compared to a 4 person squad which will have less penality's. It didnt go on to say wat the penalty's were or anything like that. Thats all i got so far enjoy. One more little thing i found out when i was just fooling around tonight. i know there was a big arguement about if the pc will go up against the xbox360. Cool thanks for the news, the penalty thing sounds alright so you wont get ganked all the time. And of couse Welcome!

Just watched the movie and found out that PC version of Huxley will be released 6months before the xbox360:(, no fair. Oh well guess that means you guys are gonna have a huge headstart.

Nice info about the squads. I hadnt heard about the bonuses to attack/def anywhere before. The rest of it is pretty standard throughout the interviews. A clarification for you on the battleground system. You ride the trams to your chosen destination and during you tram ride you switch servers and they use a streaming system instead of load screens while you wait.
One other interesting point that coincides with this article is that within the 100v100 battles you can split off and join in 4v4 fights in a lunarite mine for more quake style play. One last thing, the part of Huxley that is in the most fog atm is how the outfit system will work and how the grouping and such will be run. Did that article have anything about it?
