could be this has been asked (alot) before but because i can't find
a quicksearch, maybe 'cause there isn't any, I'm not gonna search every thread for it
as said in the trailer(s), Huxley will be released this summer, is this still true?

Maybe the big old "SEARCH"-button on the top menu could be some sort of hint?

If you would have used that button you would have seen that Huxley is most likely going to be released mid 2007. Cheers.

ah k, srry for this, i'm used to that the searchfunction is in a small textfinder
somewhere on the bottom of a page
but as you have answered my question i feel the urge of continouing here

why 2007? that's a alot later then they've said... i mean, from summer 2006 to mid 2007

oh and something else, i think small enough so there's no need for a new thread

in an ingame review of the game with explanation of what you can do and
the races and stuff they've said that the hybrid-race will be playable by saying
something like 'if you want to play for a few minutes and blow stuff up'
but on huxleygame.com it sais that this is an unplayable race...
so my question is, as you'll probably know, will this race be playable or not?

i hope this is understandable, i'm not very good in writing english

I don't think that anyone (outside the dev. team) can say something that is absolute about this matter. But I believe that it will be possible to interact with the hybrids, in one way or another. I don't think that you can actually play as them, but more likely be able to request some action from the hybrids. Perhaps someone else has more info about this, then feel free to fill in.

back on topic, i've searched google and found a couple of site that still say
that Huxley will be released in 2006

There hasn't been any official word about an open/closed beta, and since there's no beta there's certainly no release before that. I would still have to say that 2007 is the year that we're waiting for.

Most games get delayed. Most companies seem to like making up a date that is sooner, rather than later. Maybe it's because they like to build up hype early on (Who would get excited over a game that was planned to come out 3 years from now?). Or maybe they're just bad planners. Regardless, "2007" is the best estimate I've heard. As with most games, it'll probably be later rather than sooner (so mid- to late 2007).

As far as the hybrids go, it's my understanding that you can NOT play them, they're NPCs, and they're just fun to kill if you have a short amount of time. If you don't have 20 minutes to build up a squad, and then another 30 minutes to play against other players, then you can just go kill some hybrids. Walk into the hybrid place and start shooting, and leave when you're done.
