Huxley Game, Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter Game, MMOFPS

A guy I know said that Huxley has been pushed back for release in January of 2007 for an update on it or something, any of you know if this is true?

Earlier this year before E3 Huxley was slotted to come out in by jun1 as the latest. When april came up and still not beta they pushed the release date back to 2007, no month given. So yes january could very well be when they release it, or december 2007.

You mean December 2006? i'd hate to wait a year and a half for Huxley to come out if that was the case..by that time project offset will be coming out within a year.

Nope. I meant december 2007. Doubtful though since they really want to push out games with the Unreal 3 engine. But it could happen. If they don't have a beta up before september or early october I wouldn't look for it being released in january.

I fully agree, if it takes a year without something to do with Huxley then i will just lose interest completely.

dunno but amazon seem to be selling it on the 23rd June "006? dont know what thats all about? maybe they know soemthing we dont...

I would suggest checking the forums every now and then and play a different game, cause i'm pretty sure that when this game comes out you're not gonna play because you had to wait so long..lol

Amazon doesnt exactly get their release dates for things right.... we can only hope it will release as soon as the 1 month of 2007. We can only hope...

The only thing that would stop me from playing huxley no matter when it releases is if another better MMOFPS comes out. The longer they wait the more likely this will be, but I haven't heard of any came that sounds more promising than huxley.

That being said I highly doubt we will be seeing Huxley in spring of 2007, most likely fall or winter. Heck, they dont even have a real webiste yet. I hope I'm wrong though.

Yea this game is still so early in development compared to the complexity they're aiming for. Q3 next year would be the earliest I'd expect to see this retailed.

And don't bother listening to retailers, EVER. Half of the time they're completely randomly guessing, or have outdated information. The other half of the time the game publisher just hasn't bothered to tell people that the date has been pushed back. There are still places that have the UT2007 date set for October 1 this year.

From what hear at E3 they have a long way to go in developement... I dont even worry about it itll come out when they are ready... if they rush it out its crap meanwhile just find a game like BF2 UT and hell ill say even Planetside and just wait it out from what the other people in the forums are saying is that it will have fast paced action like UT so prepare i guess.....
