$15 a month is nothing.

I look at it this way:

I can spend $15 to go watch a movie which keeps me entertained for 2 or 3 hours.

I can spend $15 down the pub which keeps me entertained for 5 hours.

I can spend $15 on Huxley which keeps me entertained for 30 days.

Say you play 30 hours a week, over 4 weeks that's 120 hours of gaming for only $15. It's not much, not much at all.

Ok but I have a life, I dont want to spend it on a video game. If I am paying for it then I better be playing it cause I am paying for the amount of time I can play. In CoD2 I can play for an hour then leave to hang with friends and not play the game if I choose for the next week which has happened. With a fee, you are payin for that shit so that means you are definitly gona be playin that game alot. I dont want to spend a good portion of my time playing games.

Then even if you play 5 hours per month you're still getting better value than going to watch 1 movie in that month.

Not really, cause during that movie, I could say something to my girl and get lucky. Causing me to be entertained for maybe the rest of the day.

Seriously, I'm sure most of us have lifes here too, you're not the only one who is cool enough.

And guess what? Most of us are not complaining about monthly payments. We figure out how much entertainment that game can be, and decide it is worth the money. Huxley will most likely have payments, and I doubt it will discourage enough people to make them care.

WoW has monthly payment, look at how much cash Blizzard is making. There are alternatives, yes, but people pay the money anyway.

Silenoz666, there's no need for insults just because he has a different opinion from yours. I trust that's the last time we have to see that.

And to the ones that don't know yet if it's worth to pay the monthly fee. You have two options, try the open-beta for free (if there is one) and/or use the possibility to try the game for free for a certain amount of time. You can make up your mind after that, if you like it then I'm sure that you are going to continue with it, if not then there's plenty of more games in the sea.

dimontane simply made a good point . He never said you had to play for that amount of hours . hes just sayign how much hours you could play for showing the value for your money paid. First of all, i dont mind monthly fee's as long as i can pay with either PayPal or the all powerfull game time card.

Second, games like GW that have almost completely instanced outdoors suck, and i hope Huxley doesnt to the everything outdoor is an instance but like certain areas so outdoors can still lead to small group battles.

Thirdedly, Spaghetti or Gullage(Gulache or whatever)

That's exactly why the first month is not free even though they say you got a free month. First month is 3x's more expensive then month by month. If you make it pay to play then you benefit from all the updates and expantions.
