That was a gameplay video that was shown in third person, it may only be like that though when your in towns and then you'll have be in first person once you enter the battle grounds, it is an FPS. Then again they will have to put in some type of third person that way you can see how sexy you look with all your new armor and weapons.

it may be like PS where you can switch between the two, but there may be no crosshairs in 3rd person, it would proboly be more for driving and walking around while out of combat. There is also a problem with 3rd person, people use it to see around corners without exposing themselfs. Its pretty cheap, when I played PS there was even a guy named 3rdpersonviewisanexploit

I couldnt see why it wouldnt have 3rd person to it... some people can only do games like that. Personally though im a FPS all the way.

I'm a pure FPS-player myself but I wouldn't have a problem with people having the ability to switch to 3rd person view in the cities, where there's no fighting going on. In that way the hardcore MMORPG players would feel right at home and it wouldn't affect gameplay in a bad way such as the 3rd-person wall exploit.

Well the 3rd person way you get to view how your charactor moves and responds which is kinda nice... yes being in a city 3rd person would be nice to have when just chatting with friends and shopping for bigger explosives

I'm pretty sure if you wanted to see how your character moves, what you look like, etc., you can just find someone that looks like yourself, and follow them around for a while.
Probably a feature that Webzen wouldn't want to add for a FIRST-PERSON SHOOTER game. Spectator: Fine, Player: No. |

It's just my opinion, but maybe when you're equipting your armor, weapons, etc you can view your character in the 3rd person, if only to see how you look in the clothes...but that's the only kind of 3P I'd allow...I just don't like the 3rd person at all...
