Team Xbox had an interview with Cindy Armstrong, she's Chief Executive Officer for the North American unit.
Here is what they said.

"Team Xbox: Finally, can you reveal anything about WEBZEN’s plans for this year, next year?

Cindy Armstrong: Yes, the immediate plan is to launch “Soul of the Ultimate Nation” in the first half of next year. Shortly thereafter, before the end of the year, Huxley will launch. We are anxious to do some focus on Project Wiki because I think there’s potential for that more casual gamer. It’s a game that has lot more depth than it looks like on the surface; easy to get into, etc. It has more of an anime style, but I think there’s a very good market for that also."

Looks like huxley will be released late 2007.

Baah that sucks, since every place they published a EST release date had 2006, i was atleast expecting EARLY 2007, not fall of 2007, thats a full year push back, tsk tsk.

It dosnt bode well for Webzens customer relations if they cant be curteous enough to actually say "yea sorry its not 2006 anymore, we are now hoping for a release date in x" instead of releasing random vague snippets that only hint at whats happening :|

The Xbox version is slated to be released 6 months after the pc one. Which would put it mid 2007 if the pc release is at christmas.

Yeah, but shes not talking about the Xbox version. Since SUN and Project Wiki are both PC, you can bet shes talking about the PC version of Huxley too. What a load of crap. Nothing like waking up to read this. Feels like someone just pissed in my cereal.

I'm just as excited as everyone else for this game, but Webzen is REALLY starting to get on my nerves.

I've been optomistic to for a while hoping it would be out late ,06 or early ,07. But by the time Huxley is out Halo 3 will have been released and most people will more then likely be playing that.

Webzen just needs to inform their awaiting customers as soon as they can of what they think we be the release time frame. Keeping us up to date will keep us going at it... if we wait and wait and wait for a response... there wont be many who stay and keep hoping... other games will be released and their interest will go that way... for example halo 3 as Haloplayer put it

Yeah bout half way through he says the pc will launch in 2007 and the Xbox version about 6 months after.

it depends on how late in 07 too, i mean huxley isnt the ONLY post nuclear FPS type mmog planned for that time frame, i know if twilight wars come out b4 huxley im playing that instead, but huxley seems closer to be being finished (or so i thought), so i'll wait and see.

yeah had just recently gave up on Wow and trying out planetside and was hoping on finding my next massive multiplayer game. i was so interested in the looks and great reports on thsi game but if it is going to be so far down the road, I too would probably get distracted off on some thing else like the warhammer or LOTR game or even saving for the PS3. so this delay may hinder the great enthusiasm so many people have for this game right now.

Look guys. They prolly have some problem. Or maybe they came up with a new idea and had to change things right down to the core of the code.

It is a year, and it sucks. We all been getting real excited about this game. Most of us played or play PS. And its ok, but its lacking something. Huxley promises to fill that void. Or so we hope.

It sucks, but I would rather have them push it 2 years and do it right. At least it won't be a half-baked game like Tribes V. Or even PS for that matter. That game got so stagnant..

I think the wait will be worth it.

warhammer or LOTR

Well dont worry, warhammer uses turnbased RPG combat (really dissapointed by that) and LOTR has NO PvP last I checked. I was considering warhammer online until I found out it'll be just another game where I get to watch a server play maths. I wouldn't even look at LOTR twice, its bad enough that things are so.... black and white in the LOTR universe, but no PvP!?

I hope your right, but if I do play this, it'll be my 15th mmog, i cant tell u how many times a game got pushed back and i thought it would be super better than i hoped and it was still laggy, still crappy and still sucky...a delay doesnt always mean they are improving the game or implementing any NEW features.

sometimes its just that, a big ass delay.
