System Requirments?

Does anyone know the System requirments?
These are my specs
EDIT:Had to try to fix it sorry


Processer Brand: Intel Pentium D
Processer Speed: 3.2GHz
System Bus: 800MHz
Cache Memory(RAM): 2GB
Hard Drive Size:500GB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 6200 256MB TurboCache

Edit: For some confused peeps i ment these were MY comps Specs not Requirments for Huxley

Requirements: 1 Xbox 360, preferably with hard drive. That's about the only sure system specs we have.

This sounds stupid but a guy i was talking to said that having Window XP Media Center Edition would screw up some of my high end gaming...Wtf? I dont that much about computers and this sounds stupid but i just wanna comfirm that it doesnt from the experts it just sounds so stupid that i couldnt believe he even said it.....

yay! i got pentium D ... but its 2.8 not the 3.2, but some how i find it hard to believe that its 3.2 they want

I heard someone talk about how you could run Huxley turned way down on a 1.0 GHZ processor....which sounds kinda fishy. But requiring a 3.2? Highly doubt it.

1. for those that dont know how DualCores work read the following-

a 3.2ghz processor is NOT 2x3.2 cores, its 2 1.6ghz cores that add to 3.2


- Most games do not yet take (what little adavantage DC have) so the games will run olike it was on 1 core (1.6ghz)

- Only Progs that really use DC are office and encoding software.


__> Im willing to put down 50 bucks that my 3.2ghz w/ HT (single core) can easily outgame your 3.2ghz DC, but you will be able to open word faster then me /cry




2. Windows media centre does make games not run as well as norm XP

hmm... Well as huxley is runnin on the Unreal 3 engine you can expect it has around same specs as Doom 3.. And as its an MMO its gonna need atleast 1GB-2GB of RAM same as the usual MMO. Grahics wise maybe a decent 128mb or a 256mb should do it.. Preferbly Nvidia. Oh make sure its DDR2 or DDR3 or GDDR3.

For those who have an AMD 64+ ur fine. My comp sucks but it'll pull through.

This is the stupidest thing I have every read. You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.

1. A Pentium D 840/940 (3.2GHz) has TWO (dual) cores both running at 3.2GHz. None of this adding the frequency nonsense. C'mon don't spread this crap.

2. Dual cores are the future, no benefits my ass. Think about it this way. In your task manager you have a lot of backround applications running. For example, AIM, P2P program, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, Firewall, ITunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp the list goes on forever... Now here's where the dual core advantage comes in. When you are gaming all of that backround stuff can be utilized on one of the two cores, while the gaming material is handled on the second core.

Furthermore, NVidia has been programing their graphics drivers to take advantage of dual cores, and all future software (yes games included) will be built around dual cores (Unreal Engine 3 anyone???)

Also, think about this... he can rip a DVD and play a game at the same time... no way your P4 can do that.

There is a huge difference and despite that nonsense you said, no Word will not load faster on his computer. That makes absolutely no sense at all. Both of your computers are 3.2GHz, so both will load Word the same.

And I hope you have $50 bucks ready to send to him cause guess what... you're wrong about your P4 single core out-preforming his dual core chip. His is superior to your in every way except that his has much higher power usage.

You might, i think the minimum requirements is pretty high like a 2.4 ghz 1 gig ram or something.

yeah i think they will probably have a high graphics mode and low graphics mode which will allow players with older computers play.
