Well p2p is good at normal rates. I mean not too much money to pay. Plus MMOs like RUne Scape are free! xD

lol...well I actually might NOT play it if it didn't have a subscription fee because that would hint that they would just make it and leave it alone, a subscription fee is what you pay for all the extras of an MMO

I actually almost completely agree. Those who disagree with subscription fees obviously don't see the disadvantages. If you don't have a subscription fee, they have no dedication to the players because we aren't paying anyway, and the servers are almost guarenteed to have lag.

I have an xbox and will hopefully be getting it on the xbox and I would still pay to play huxley! I hope that I wont have to pay but I wouldnt really mind it. Also I think this game will be worth that extra 10-15$ a month with what we think it will offer us, plus by the time it comes out my little Huxley fund will have grown to a small fortune... ... ...

If Huxley would have a online fee i might not play it or maybe i would find a private server because monthly fees are just hassles when u can just buy the CD like guildwars it would be great, if you say its just the same well ur wrong becoz when expansions come out some people buy them and some people dont so it would be great it there were no annoying MONTHLY FEES!

How are monthly fees annoying? You grab a credit card, plug it in, it's charged once a month (or less often depending upon payment plans). Oh, wait, most people that play free games don't have credit cards. *facepalm* L2Age.

It's 15 bucks a month total for nearly any good MMO, that's two quarters a day. Save your money, don't buy that donut at nutrition you high school fat ass. joking, kinda. If you can't save two quarters a day, you fail.

No. I almost 100% expect at least a 15$ monthly fee, if they consistently add updates, new things.. ect ect.. and fix bugs fast -- i don't mind paying it.

Yes...unless its only $10 or 5$ a month, $15 a month for WoW turned me away from iti sorta liked it in a way.

I won't have a problem paying $15 a month if I enjoy the game enough.

I payed the $15 a month for WoW because I really enjoyed it and pretty much all my friends were playing, so I could play with them.

I don't think too many of my friends plan on getting Huxley when it releases so I have to rely on getting them to play after I get the game and see that it's awesome.

If it's a mediocre game then obviously nobody is going to want to p2p anyway and it'll probably get changed.

But we all know Huxley is going to be amazing so I'm sure it'll be worth it to pay monthly

I hope for a lower fee than $15 but we'll just have to wait and see.

$15 is nothing. Just skip a restaurant once a month. Don't go to Denny's, don't buy that expensive $6 burger get the dollar menu. Avoid that coffee you have every day. People waste so much money then complain about a miniscule payment like 15 a month. Hell, people waste money using up gas to drive that extra distance to get cheaper gas, spending $2 to save $0.50. Idiocy.

I should learn to use a little more substance in my posts, especially since this was my very first post on these forums. I am sure that I won't make the same mistake twice.

After Reading the post's, I'm down with paying $10-15 dollars a month. You get what you pay for,I know for a fact Huxley is going to kick plenty of ass and provide plenty of lulz.

I'm glad this game won't be "Free", Its a idiot-filter, and also brings in a mature community.

Look at the crap Warrock, Need I say More?

I'd still pay if it had a monthly fee, I'm expecting it. I'd prefer, though, if it were under $15. Yes you can pay for expansions in GW and it adds up to the cost but you don't have to buy them. Plus you're not paying for any time you're not playing. Also, games like WoW and FFXI charge you for the expansion AND the monthly fee.

Phantasy Star Online (and Universe) both charged $10 a month and that's a VERY reasonable fee. FFXI charges $13 base fee, extra $1's for every character past 1 and Tetra Master. WoW charges $15, that's a bit much for me.

If Huxley is indeed as good as I'm expecting it to be, I won't have a problem paying up to $15.

Love,
Fox Makenshi

To be honest, i'm just about to quit the actual WoW aspect and only use it for amusement when on LAN with friends. And tbh I think WoW is kind of evenly based. I can manage to pay it every 2 months, hell even my gf's 13 year old brother can manage THAT. So if it wouldn't be too much. But lets wait and see, maybe their gonna use ingame advertisements. There ARE cities and whole settlements. There must be something to implemend with a sense of RP.

How ever. I'm new here, so i'd also like to say hi ^_^;

Yeah I agree, it's not that hard to make those kinds of payments ESPECIALLY if you have a job. Welcome to the boards, you'll find it's a bit of a ghost town at the moment but once new info is released you'll see it alive again.

oh gawd, i wish this were true, but just look at games like WoW, 15 bucks a month.. no kids? plenty =(

Planetside however had mostly mature people though.

So i guess it could go either way, i just hope it m
