Hi, i am quite new here
i found huxley in a BF2 forum and it does look good i like war with bullets ( no lasers plz ) and arcady shooting sounds good to me but it must play right ( not as BF series ) i like vehicals , like apaches ,tanks etc. i also love teamwork, with ranking , soldiers will listen to the commands of a officer , that stuff you know :wink: and i love the MMO concept, a real second world, where you can live, eat and fight i own a 360 do you think i will like huxley ? i dont wanna be disappointed with the game is this right ? = Joint Operations style + BF2 style + WoW style = Huxley ?

This game will NOT be tactical based, its faster more like Quake4 n UT2004.
I believe vehicles will not have the same importance as in BF2 either, though we?ll see about that. Expect some over the top kind of weapons as well.

I don't know in an MMO FPS there has to be /SOME/ tactics. And I am unsure the gameplay will be as quick as they said. Planetside claimed the same thing before launch.

mmm... i like fast action
i can remember those days of Soldier of Fortune 2 with xtreem speed LOL , those heads where flying off due my shotgun with high speed bunny hopping i read here an interview, and it shows that there will be tactical things because you play as a team, your race. Every mission and battle has effect on your race ( maybe lose territory ? ) and you can gain up in levels and ranks , and a high rank soldier can lead the team to victory i read, but its still unkown how, orders system maybe ? unreal tournament , mmm.. i never played , saw it 1x , but thats more indoor , and i like to see outdoor with dropships ! ( trailer ! ) maybe we can expect some kind of game like Renegade !

I play MMORPG's (City Of Villains and WoW) and FPS's (Halo Series kicks @$$ and Call Of Duty etc). What Lexion said is true -Tactics yes, slow no- I'm guessing you'll like it as long as your idea of tactics is "Okay move up" One Hour Later "Okay move up.'' Thats boring but assault tactics are fun.

My understanding is, the team with the most skill = the team with the most victories. This won't directly be a tactical game, but in the same sense, it is. It won't be a slow mo game like America's Army, but I see it more as Battlefield 2, where even though you can play fast and hun n' run, you can also play smart and utilize your surroundings, which I think will greatly represent Huxley.

I agree with PhoenixDog, a hardcore FPS players at the beginning would dominate over n00bs that just want to play because its a MMO Game. I myself play Halo 2, Perfect Dark 0, Call Of Duty, Quake 4, Battlefield MC so I know how to play an FPS.

Well seeing how very different BF2 is to UT and Quake, especially sniping and vehicles I doubt itll be similar to BF2 seeing they stated UT/Quake-type gameplay.

tactical can also be used in a fast action game
not only move up but also , retreat, flank them , call support etc. maybe BF style ? and the action Unreal style ? it can be a good mix but what if you die in the field of battle ? you respawn ? or... and i would like to know how fast you die, ( not renegade style 100 headshots = 1 kill ) I have read some info about Planetside and the concept is really good dunno about the gameplay I hope that huxley concept will be close to planetside's , i love that idea that 3 Empires are fighting to gain land and facilities ! , i hope that we see facilities in huxley also ( forward battlefield commandpost or something ) They can create teamplay and tactics just with a good squad system where the squadleader can easly give orders ( see BF2 ) and 1 or more commanders who controllers the big orders like dropships ? ( can you fly those things or is that the AI job ? )
