SUN's Beta = May 2nd, Huxley's = ?

(i'm not ganna translate the whole thing.... so this is what i sum up, i'm still not sure when it will be for North America but the good news is : VERY SOON)


-2nd pre-OBT : April 25, 2006 - April 29, 2006

For the 1st pre-OBT testers, all your characters will be saved and useable in the 2nd pre-OBT, it will last 5 days

-Official OBT : May 02, 2006

Now, this is what i believe everyone is waiting for, all your pervious characters in 1st and 2nd per-OBT will be deleted and the official OBT will begin!

There are currently over 1 million members registered in Korea, and China's CBT will also start on May 02 (temp. date
70% sure it'll be some where in May 2006)

So! the wait is nearly over! but it's just weird i've heard NOTHING about it in North America, BUT! if you are going to E3 LA, you'll see that all the interface IS ALREADY in english,(currently, Taipei Game Show already presents a fully functional english version) which i personally believe we will be able to enjoy the english version at the same time when it is released in Korea (don't take it seriously, it's merely a personally guess from all the pervious BT experience, and searchs throu out the webpages in Asia)

anyways, hope this will ease some of the pains you've been suffered while waiting :P i would love to post more infos but there are just way too many things, and without a official english website only makes it harder = = i'm just glad i found this one~



SUN + Huxley are set to be released Q3... If SUN is planning the OBT in May, will this coincide with a Huxley CBT starting post-E3? It would make sense with timing right? Just more evidence to that point.

SuN has been in development longer than Huxley has, so im not suprised the beta has been announced first. Expect to hear Huxley's Beta announcement in May come E3

Webzen are still saying and have been saying for along time that the pc version of Huxley will be released Q3 2006, wich means at the latest November 06, although general whisperings are August 06.

The 360 version will be released in 2007 wich is probably what the confusion is.

I'll believe it when I see it. I've lost count the number of times developers have stated a release only to change that date 1 month or less before expect release date.

I can't complain, delays = improvements, and who can compnain about a game being better on release?

Well this article is from awhile back, and since they mentioned "For the 1st pre-OBT testers"... yes it must be going on right now. Again, this is only the Korean BT though.

Thanks. I was thinking that the 1st beta might have been a closed beta, since most 1st betas are. They really need to post this stuff on their English site too... Koreans aren't the only ones that want to play this game :?

well its a korean company, and they always said it'd be out in korea first. so that's fair enough.

there isnt even an english official site up yet... hopefully post E3 we'll have a huxley and SUN one.

I expect beta to be short, most Asian companies do this with their betas.

Lineage 2 beta was almost nonexistant.
CoH was pretty short, only a few months.
Auto Assault had been fairly long.
GunZ is tech. never going to come out of beta.

So, just PRETEND that release date was August 19th, 2006.
I'd expect beta to come around mid june - july.

Short beta, but hopefully effective.




Also, they have the game fully in English, not with just shitty translations either.
It was playable at E3.
