Huxley Game, Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter Game, MMOFPS

which one do you think will look better. there both my favorite games of 06 but after watching the oblivion 1 week video i dont see how any game in the near future can beat that and if any than its huxley or halo 3

Oblivion will of course look better than Huxley. Oblivion can afford to go all out on graphics due to the fact that its a single player game. When a developer makes an MMO they have got to make sure the game runs smoothly for all computers so they get the biggest possible subscription base. Theres also the fact that Huxley is an FPS so frames/second is alot more important.

Then im out of my mind then, i prefer pen and papper for RPGs. Not some crappy computer thninge that dosent stand a chanse to match the freedom in a pen and papper :P

We are taling aboute the elder scrolls, righty?

there are so many differences between an mmo and a single player based game, but as far as versitiliy and being able to play with hundreds of people mmos > single player games.

Pen and paper may allow a lot of freedom, but I'd like to see how long it would take you to set up and play a campaign as extensive and detailed as the Elder Scrolls games.

huxley will have way more factors in it. Like the amor your wearing will affect a lot of things.... unlike oblivion. Oblivion is still a great game.

how can you compare this games, Oblivion huge singel RPG, Halo3 crappy money making FPS for Xbox and Huxley an MMORPGFPS :P

Anyway I think MMO's will have a very hard job if they want to be better then Oblivion on the RPG part, its simply a brilliant game with a world that seems much more alive, realistic and buetifull then other games.

If you wanna compare stuff, compare Halo3 to Prey or Metroid Prime3. Oblivion to the new Zelda or GTA4. Huxley, not sure what to compare that too, probebly UT2007 or QuakeWars

The team that did Oblivion are now working on Fallout 3 .. so not likely to be an MMOG released around the Oblivion system.. + its a system designed for singleplayer I'm not convinced at all it would offer anything worthwhile or different enough to compete against Middle Earth Online, Warhammer Online or World Of Warcraft .. all of wich have much richer and more enticing worlds.. of course thats my oppinion but what they also have is much much larger exisitng fan bases...

Oblivion is by far the best RPG I've ever played same with MorroWind, but when push comes to shove there are times Im wandering around the Oblivion towns / lands and start thinking to myself how much cooler it would be if I had a friend next to me fightning with me and be able to see a bunch of other players walking around as well so Im going to have to go with Huxley.
