I'm at a point where the idea of fighting program controlled enemies seems void and pointless.

Yeah, this seems like quite the strange comparison.

But Oblivion would make a HORRIBLE MMORPG. I can't explain how angry I would be wandering around Bruma and hear/see "lol, that guyz such a N00B." People constantly whine that Bethesda should make their Elder Scrolls games MMO's. It basically sickens me, and I hope it never happens.

Yeah, running into other people walking around Oblivion would probably ruin it.

Em... no. Bethseda already announced that they will only be making singleplayer games after Morrowind. They had a project before that was supposed to be Morrowind except an MMO, but they cancled it and made it singleplayer for some reason. But, I have heard a lot of people *wanting* a Elder Scrolls MMO.

Oblvion has been released, Huxley hasn't.

Oblivion is a single-player game. How fun could it possibly get, typing to NPC's, with no human-interaction?

They can make the game have a little bit of variety, but that is mostly up to you (the player), and can therefore govern the outcome of a situation.

Huxley, on the other hand, sounds like there is a crapload of player interaction (even more so than other MMORPG's), that means an almost endless possibility of variation, and the fact that you cannot tell the outcome.

A lot. And what are you talking about "typing" to NPC's? There is no typing in Oblivion, and if it was an MMORPG, you would probably be typing to other players....hence the MMO part.

Single-player gets old fast, is what I'm saying (in Fischer Price words). MMO games are so much more fun, because the game never ends.

I have played oblivion and I liked it, but I still prefer MMO's more than just singleplayer games.

I loved oblivion... until I learned you cant kill everything and that the world levels with you.. so at level one you can't just explore and find demons and dragons and whatnot, you have to wait till your lvl 20+ to see anything close to that.

alot of people loved oblivion, but not me. I honestly played it for maybe 4 hours, and I got really bored. it all just seemed.......pointless. I trade it in for BF2 soon after so yay im happy :D
IMHO I think Huxley is gonna be a game to remember. People were talking about Oblivion when it was released, and a few months after, but people have been talking about Huxley for over a year BEFORE it was released. It's gonna be great!

Huxley > Oblivion... reasons are too much grass in oblivion, and not many people have the computer to run it even without lag spikes

also all spells look the same by type, which is so stupid and you cant kill quest givers, game levels up with you.

Huxley = fps
