If micro$soft thought that no one would like the 360 one they wouldn?t do it.

it would be good for the PC version if Huxley 360 survived and did well but i doubt it will. half of all players on Live with a 360 are 12 year old kids who already pay $50 a year just to play on Live. i have been playing Ghost Recon on Live lately and more then half the people you join games with are kids with high pitched voices. unless they are rich or spoiled i dont see them playing. right there you lose out on a large section or the XBL community.

Just think about this though. How many 360s are actually out there right now? 2-3 million? i never looked for exact numbers so if you know post it here.

3 million people with the ability to play at best you will get 5% of them to actually play and leave Halo 2 or GRAW behind. Most have never seen a MMO and dont understand the concept of a persistent world that continues after red team gets 50 kills.

now lets just go low with PC gamers and say 10 million out there. if 5% of them go thats 500,000 players. most MMOs never get that big but some do. WOW has 5 million subscribers.

PCs have a larger player base with more experienced players in the MMO market.I hope Huxley 360 does get a large enough player base to survive for a few years but i doubt it with the level of immaturity that XBL brings with it.

It is going to fail, no question. I've decided the 360 version is just pointless.

Its been debated on these forums, and my standpoint is no.

Why?

Mouse + keyboard VS. controller.

Different release dates

Different hardware

Different software

Would take unnec. amount of time to program and iron out the code

Theres just too many bumps in the road for it, in my opinion, to become reality.

i could see more use of the 360 if they where the same servers. but if their separate, then the 360 version wont last long.

the mouse and keyboard vs controller arguement for the 360s failure is silly. I and im sure many FPS players already have their 360 keyboards. And even then, some people STILL will prefer to play with a controller even if their opponents are using keyboards and mice. It really is not that big a deal.

I can plug an old xbox controller into my pc and play unreal to this day and still come out number 1. The only difference it makes is with sniping. yes with the keyboard and mouse you will be a much better sniper but for rockets/explosives/rapid fire weapons you will do just fine.

Also the reason why games on xbox live seem dead has nothing to do with the fact they suck im sure. Splinter cell, rainbow six 3, Halo 2. All of which still have amazing xbox live player bases. UC was very poorly implemented onto live. It lagged to hell and had a ton of bugs. Same with UC2. Sad to see it happen but the games just didnt do well.
