Well looking at the game I have seen so many different screenshots of the game I really don't know what the requirements are going to be for it, I can only assume a fairly high spec machine looking at the graphics now, Maybe when the game is finaly released they won't seem quite as impressive but who knows, The beta testing starts soon in asia apparently so we will see.

but SS are taken with the highest possible settings, usually, and so base specs will probably be lower.

it should be a multi-threaded game because of the unreal 3 engine so it would be helpfull if you have a dual-core proccessor

since its a nice game but older engine with tweaks i must say

i would say radeon X800 or higher or Gfroce6800
gig of ram
AMD 3200 or higher processer

and you be good to go

in computer world months are old last year i got the great redeon a x700 this year i got a x850 ^_^

Great move Athrus. Sure it costs more but if you are able to buy one of the nicest cards right when it comes out then you are "future proof" for as long as it's possible in this fast paced world of gaming.
Another thing is that if you can buy a pimp card right when a game like Huxley first comes out then in theory it's pimp for the life of the game.

Well...i'd be willing to comp a little (and i mean a little) on graphics for stable servers....... nothing more annoying then facing north and a split second later your headed southeast....

I just recently upgraded my computer to these specs.

AMD Athlon 64bit 4000+ CPU

nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX 256 mb

2gig (2x 1 gig sticks) DDR400 pc3200 ram

I hope this is good enough to run it with at least medium settings..

Celor that should run on high, im running a amd athlon xp 2400 (2 gig) 1 gig of 2700 RAM and a 6600 GT and I bet I can run it on med-high no AA, or med AA x2

Lol that can maybe run on low... I know I couldn't run quake 4 on med but could run on low with my geforce 5200, and 512 RAM, but this game has more detail

There is a Unreal Engine 3 demo you can get, its called robo hordes or something, and its a demo of some random game, but it helps.

To help Benchmarking, download 3dmark06...

My Specs:
3.2 ghz P4 H/T
x800 ATI
1 gig

The test of the unregistered version, well.... sucked. but i could run the unreal 3 engine.

Im investing 1000 into a new system for these updates.

I'm not sure how you guys are making guesses as to performance an Unreal 3 engine game when no U3 games have come out yet. I guess a tech demo could be a rough estimate...where did you find that U3 engine demo, Laser2150?
