An idea I have come up with so that they will not immediatley go back to the combat, but still play immediatly after they die is to lower all stats significantly and have them come back slowly such as accuracy and licenses for weapons, run speed, etc.

Also, to prevent people from just constantly going out and dying thinking there is no real consequence, you should reduce exp by a percentage of what is in the pool permanently. If they go to 0% exp, then you are unable to go outside of safezone for a period of time (haven't thought of the 0% exp much).

Anyone know if you drop items or are items of no importance like in planetside you can always just get another gun?

I liked Neocron where you would drop an item and yeah it sucked when it was a item you really cared for but it was really nice looting other peoples stuff after killing them and knowing how mad they proble are. I hope Huxley's respawning isint easy where your like darn I died oh well ill just spawn again because then people just play like rambo and dont think first before acting.


From videos and stuff I read it looks like you can get better weapons and equipment and stuff so maybe you can loose them as well when you die or they get ruined the more damage you take on in fights. Hopefully theres some consequences for dieing besides waiting thirty seconds or so.

Well if this is one big huge war like it's supposed to be, why wouldn't you make the penalty time, and the time porportional to how many people of one race/squad/w.e are dead or alive. Say if 50% of one race is alive and 70% of another one is alive, make the first race spawn faster or something like that. Also the waves idea is good, make something to fight for to actually get a push in battles. Give the players goals to accomplish that will actually help. This aspect of the game could really make or break it. I really hope they think long and hard about a system. I know mine has a lot of flaws but some of those could be worked out in different ways.

Also a new idea is that if there is more players of a certain race (more alternative) they would lower the stats even more for a longer period of time to help balance the sides.

Tah wouldnt be very fair to shorten respawn times, its not the larger sides "fault" by individual, that less ppl play the other race and therefor get perks. Its war after all.

I think your respawn rate should be based off what youre using. So tank like people have to wait longer and etc. Now there could be special attachments to weapons that shorten time and add stats. Sorta like an assault rifle can have 2 slots to use. Shorten time takes both slots unless you want a scope and light or something. Then the scope and etc would take only 1.

Just an idea.
