Music In Vehicles

In Battlefield: Vietnam you could play music while you were driving around in a jeep, helicopter, tank, jet...vespa...etc. They had a nice little playlist with a bunch of songs from the 60s and 70s and you could choose any of them.

People around your vehicle could hear the music you were playing and it was kind of cool and just something fun they added to the game.


Just thought it would be cool if Huxley had something like with newage music or something.

I remember a thread like this a while back in '07.
It would be great, i would really like to see this tank cruising around a corner and as it passes you with it's really REALLY big gun you hear Gilfriend playing inside...

The chances that there is going to be music in vehicles doesn't seem very likely. Because its such a pointless feature not saying it doesn't need to be there just saying I'd rather them finish the game then add it in later in a patch or something/ downloadable content for 360 users.

How ever... What would be cool is if you were able to have a radio type system that would come as a upgrade mod for a vehicle and it would act as a mic, and you could play music off your iTunes play list or something I know its totally far fetched but it would be really cool. Only problem is you would have people rollin down the street throwin down some Rick Roll.

I definitely agree that it's an unnecessary feature for Huxley. And I'd be more than happy to see it in a patch!

Trust me I'm with you all on wanting to get Huxley as soon as possible, but to be honest, it's the little things in games that make them stand out.

For me, one of the big things in BF: vietnam was the fact that I could play music will I was cruising in my jeep...right into a tank.

Huxley has lots of cool features that stand out, and even lots of smaller ones (player housing, personal vehicles etc.) so yeah, i'd be willing to wait for a stereo upgrade in my tank

hahaha rap or opera. That would stand out a lot, and would definitely get some rockets from me

I'd definitely be down for some metal or techno mixes in the vehicles lol.

Maybe even a little classical, like Flight of the Valkyries or something lol.

Yeah, you start off with having music in your vehicle than be able to slap upgradable mods on their to. Get some awesome guns on their with loud looking speakers and throw on some hydrolics to give it that "I'm gonna kill ya gangsta style" feel to it. Yeah, that would be some pretty cool stuff. Well, not gonna happen. Cool thought though.

Well I'd rather keep it simple. No 40 inch rims and a dope sound system. Just a list of songs that I can play in my vehicle.

Maybe even limit it to the personal vehicles that you can drive around the city. That wouldn't be as much fun though

Would be nice idd. But I don't know if it would actually be handy. Considering there's basicly an all-out war going on. Losing your focus makes you lose your head. Golden rule in Twitch-triggers.

ok first off LOL ROFLMAO LMAO ROFLOL LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL About the Barbie deal. I laughed so hard that i almost Sh*t my pants. Anyways i think it would be a great idea, but i think that you should only be able to hear the music if yer IN the vehicle. Otherwise you get spammers like in TF2.
