Many good points and ideas have been made on the many important aspects that will be implemented in Huxley. Many of them, in my opinion, will be make or break for Huxley, that is to say, if they are screwed up Huxley will not make the splash or be a good game. I'll be using this topic to discuss most if not all of these make or break aspects.
Weapons No doubt that this game will have weapons. The question is, what types, what specs, and how many. What every FPS or shooter must do is balance the weapons, some will of course be better than others. How powerful, though, should the higher level equipment be? Those that pick the game up for the first time, or only play casually will not be able to stand it if grinding is the only way to be able to enjoy PvP matches. This is one of the more important things the developers must consider in making Huxley as the slightest change in recoil or damage can make a big difference. Strategy, Commanding, and Voice Chat These will be or are big things with some of you in this community. As Webzen has put forward that strategy and tactics will be a big part of the gameplay, it should be given special consideration. The way commanders and squads are picked and set up, the tools they are given for planning and strategy, and the way voice chat is implemented will be very important for the PvP battlefields. Especially how commanders are picked and what they can do. If you have played Battlefield 2, the teams with the more organized command and squads are the ones that win. Some game neither teams have good squads or commanders and the game is played with personal skill and attrition alone, but with a commander and good underofficers so much more can be done. Battlegrounds, Maps, PvP This is by far the biggest section of the game, as most people will purchase Huxley to participate in the large PvP battlegrounds. Most of how the battlegrounds will work, remain a mystery. Will battles out side of the main ones occur? How is victory decided? What types of maps will their be (urban, suburban, forest, desert etc)? How will the lunarites effect the course of the battle? There are many, many things Webzen has not released and possibly not considered, but they will have to be decided on correctly for Huxley to be successful. There are more breaking points that Huxley will have, but three is all the time I have for now. I will come back and edit this post later, in the meantime, CoD 4 beckons.
