I like hardcore features like robberies of houses. Seriously, when everything is safe and you have no chance of losing any progress, the game flatlines adrenaline levels.

But I couldn't see it in Huxley

I could be wrong but I think the housing is in the capital cities where fighting isn't allowed.

But then again I think there are some end game missions that are supposed to put you in or around the opposing factions capital so who knows?

Im hoping apartments are a sanctuary but if they get the chance, make an escape route or fire escape where you could potentially escape a otherwise fatal situation.

Housing is instanced.

Meaning there is 1 teleport that teleports all players to their house, but you can not see other players house from the outside world. For those of us who have played SWG, it means you cannot see other players houses out in the world. For those that played WoW, housing works like an instance or dungeon, you step into the portal, you get a loading screen, and bam. You're in your house, but theres no other players in sight. Although you can invite other players to your house.

No you cannot steal from other players' houses. That's just a stupid idea in the sense of practicality. "Oh nice I just found this lvl 50 gun, let me go get it and I'll sho- OMFG SOMEONE STOLE IT! I'm going to go complain to a GM!" Webzen is not going to want to hear everyones complains on that.

And yes, I'm fairly certain you can buy furniture and things to customize your house and make it all "fung shway" and stuff...

First two, I'm certain of, and the last customization bit I'm 95% sure.

where exactly did you get that info? I'm not doubting that housing will be instanced because it would make sense with space issues. But then again, housing could be a higher level option and since as of now you can only have 1 character per server they could have enough room.

After all, the capital city is apparently huge and includes multiple districts and it's own transportation system.

There may not be a housing system like Star Wars Galaxies where you can see everyones house spread out through a guild's city that is located somewhere in the vast open areas that game has. But rather maybe they'll just have apartment buildings spread throughout the city, with a few houses for those who can afford some insane prices.


Unless of course there is an interview somewhere that says all housing is instanced. In that case forget what I just said lol.

I don't know where I saw it, but it said player housing is instanced and will take place in a huge apartment building in the city. Im assuming you can allow friends in, but i highly doubt stealing will be allowed. It also stated Guild halls will also be instanced. in which you "furnish", so therefore you can decorate your housing with some badass stuff. Same for the guild hall. Its a place for chilling and hanging. I think i also remember it saying as you guild expands you can add wings and expand your guild hall (hanger/vechicle parking lot?). So maybe you can buy a bigger apartment as well?

I'm gonna look for that article or movie whatever it was. It might have been from the E3 when it was first annonced. When i first started waiting for this game X_X.

In Short:
1. Instanced Housing / Guild Halls.
2. More than less likely furnishable.
3. Stealing unlikely.
4. Expandable?

Ahhh, I was getting hopeful. If the intanced thing is true, what good is it to have a huge house if noone is around to admire it. What I wanted is a bunch of players outside my house saying 'wow, that is a cool house, I want one, oh wait, I got to be level 50 and have bajillion dollars(or whatever the currency is)'

I definitely remember reading something way back about housing and guild halls as well. I remember thinking how awesome it was that we could have a place to relax and wait for more guild members to get on and form a group.

So good if more people remember that article then it's probably true lol.


About them being instanced, oh well. It'll still be cool to have your own place to invite people into

You have an apartment room. These rooms will be instanced places to store weapons, armor, items, etc..
