By that I mean. Has anyone noticed anything that would lead us to believe that you can or cannot walk through other players.
Like in WoW and many other MMOs you can walk right through players without thinking twice. But in some FPSs other players can get in your way and you can't walk through them. If you can't walk through people in Huxley I think that would make the game a lot different. For example: a squad of enforcers are charging a group of 2 different squads. (we'll say the charing enforcers are team "A" and the defending 2 squads are team "B"). Team B has a squad of enforcers as well and has set them up in a line in front of the other squad which consists of a 2 phantoms and 2 avengers. Team A plans to rush through the line of enforcers and kill the phantoms and avengers. However, the enforcer squad of team B are set up in between two buildings, with the other squad behind them. This means that team A cannot easily get to, and shoot at, the weaker phantoms and avengers because the big enforcers are in their way. Basically creating a wall of people in order to protect those behind them. This way the avengers and phantoms can easily take out the enforcers of team A as they try to fight through the enforcer line of team B. On the other hand, if you could run through people, then team A could easily just rush past the enforcers of team B and attempt to kill the avengers and phantoms.

I don't think we will be able to just walk through people. I kind of hope it doesn't let you, but I get you point. And on some games like that, people "block" paths to certain places when they get bored. But yeah, like you said with the squad A and B thing, I think that would be cool, you could have long and medium ranged guys in the back kinda taking out most of them, the close range guys taking out any survivors.

Well I guess since the game is on the unreal engine, and in gears of war you couldn't walkthrough people, you probably can't walk through people..just a guess

And that way people could still use the blocking strategy but they'd have to be paying attention so they wouldn't get pushed out of the way

Nooooooo.
Blocking will DEFINETLY be in the actual battles and stuff like that. As for in cities when you're in a hurry - Not a bad idea. Because if a guy with a car starts plowing through a crowd - Not pretty and the outcome will be suspension or ban if constant reports happen of this. I've never played a FPS that had no blocking. I'm pretty sure even N64's GoldenEye had blocking. All I'm saying is - that there is NO way in my many years of gaming will combat have no blocking. It's an insane idea to do so.

I don't know what that means exactly, but it is vulgar and I'll let that go as a warning. Please be mindful of these forums as we have a large anti-dependancy of curse words to state our opinion. Thanks.

The only reason I thought you might always be able to walk right through people is only because some MMOs (WoW for example) allow you to walk right through people all of the time. I guess because sometimes there are bunches of people around and it would be a pain to have to get through a door that 500 people are crowded around lol. So yeah in the battlefields I'd love to see blocking. I'd also love to see some sandbox type things in the game (where you can make a little bunker and fight behind it or something) But I haven't seen that in any of the gameplay videos and I was kind of doubting anything like that being in the game. So setting up a line of enforcers to hide behind is good enough for me I'd also hope that you couldn't get run over in the cities lol. As fun as it sounds to me right now to kind of dodge out of the way of speeding cars, I know it would just get annoying. The city should be the place where you can kind of relax and buy/sell stuff. However I would love to see the option of dueling in the city because that could be fun to watch (maybe they use special bullets that only do damage to those in the duel or something...it is the future after all, I'm sure they could invent that). Plus if you could just bump people out of the way, then you could take some time moving all the AFK people into a funny formation lol.

I would be very disappointed if there were no blocking on the battlefield. But in the city it would definitely prove useful to have some king of bumping, or just walking through people would be good for indoors. Like in WoW, places like the auction house would get too crowded without being able to walk through people.

that would be crazy to see high populated areas like an auction house without people being able to stack on top of each other lol. I guess the only way you could do that would be to allow you to interact with NPCs from far away since there would be a huge cluster of people gathered around the auctioneer. But I guess we don't really know how stuff like that will be set up in Huxley anyway.
and I don't know if you guys thought this, but I was reading through the replies and I just wanted to explain that I wasn't saying it would be one way or the other, but rather, I was wondering which way it would be. And as to it making the game easier or harder depending on if there is blocking or not. I don't think it would really make it easier or harder at all, it would basically only change the gameplay. Setting up "blockers" in an attempt to let others freely shoot at an enemy would just be another way to play. And now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure every FPS I've played has had blocking. I guess I just took it as the norm and never really noticed. So for now I'll assume there will be blocking.
