I think it must be $10 or lower, becouse we also have to buy it for $50,- (in the shop)!

Becouse Unreal Tournament 2007 and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars are free to play (per month), and if you wan't to get up to that: it don't must be $10+. Becouse after 5 months you can buy another game for the same money!

Preferably i would like to see it like guild wars, but i guess if nothing else $10 dollars a month is ok. Havent had much luck with MMO's in the past as they always got boring after awhile ( planet side for instance ), so the lower the price , the happier i am ( and i dont feel like its a waist of money if i quit  tho i doubt this one will be a waist. )

hi btw

I would pay 15-20, if I like the game. Guildwars on the otherhand, am glad they didn't charge. I played it for a week, got to level 20, got the best gear, haven't played it since. I hope it ends up nothing like guild wars.

I chose 10$ a month because I dought I would pay anything above that, but depending on how well it is revieved by review sites and people here I would be willing to pay more.

OK, whoever said Guild Wars had the right idea in terms of payment, go play Guild Wars and shut the hell up. Guild Wars may be free, but thats only because no one would pay to play it.

I would pay 15 dollars for this game per month. Why? Planetside was 13 and I played that for 3 years. If Huxley can deliver the quality on as large a scale as the devs say it can, then it will totally worth it. Additionally, with a monthly fee new content will be added consistently and bugs will get fixed. Pay to Play with a company other than SOE= Quality DEV support. That will make the game worth it in the end.

Reality is they will probably give a month free initially and they will have all kinds of promotions for the first 6 months or so to get a nice customer base. They will probably take after PlanetSide , that game had so many bugs at first it was free to play for several months if I recall correctly.
Nope

well said, ive been paying 13 a month for planetside for a yr now $12 a month for 8 months for knightonline (stopping this month due to morons in game :P) i dont think i could go back to another free server based game, it lets the dickheads in eg bug abusers game hacks etc, and also the lack of replay value (name FPS that can last 3 + yrs that is free to play and still hold 1000's of players) i think 15 or even 20 a month is fair price if the game lives up to its expectations. and i think the game should be added to direct2drive.com

Ok, here's my 2 bits...

I'll say $10 is ideal, $15 would be ok as well but they better have a pretty high level of immersion if they want that.

Not to bash Planetside, but I don't think comparing this game to Planetside's model is a good one mainly because PS was never a very successful MMO. It didn't have much immersion...just huge battles. The battles didn't really involve you with any kind of lore or history. Advancing your character in planetside didn't really feel like you were making your character anymore unique...it just meant you could drive better stuff and perhaps carry another bigger but generic gun. I found there to be little 'immersion factor' going on in planetside. That's why charging $12-$15 dollars a month for planetside didn't really catch on when you could be playing Battlefield or UT2K4 for free.

So if Huxley is kinda low on the immersion factor it better not charge more than $10 bucks a month cause it will get eaten by Enemy Territories and UT2K7. But, if Huxley has the type of game immersion that WoW or EQ have (and that is what I think it will have ), then I think they'll have no problems charging $15.

I would pay: no more than ?7.... its really great looking game plus the gameplay is full of original designs. Still.... the less you pay the more gamers can get this game.

I discussed this with a friend of mine earlier. XBox live doesnt give a cent to huxley, so they wouldn't make any money off of xbox live players. I think they will charge xbox live players as well, or else it is no profit.

I'd be more than happy to pay $15 a month, if the game delivers what I hope it will.

Guild wars did have problems ( and it WAS NOT free ) but no game is perfect , this game may be near it, but with any game , time wears it down. Im not saying im a nut for guildwars, i just like how they did payment, pay $50 for the game , then $20 to start up the account, and your done. btw, Drsomewhere, no , i wont shut the hell up. noob, this forum if im correct, is to add to idea's and discuss the game, not tell other ppl they are wrong and should shut up, or qout some one and just say " nope ". ( sry to every one reading to give their sensebile oppinions if thats alittle off subject , i just needed to say it )

Guildwars is an amazing game... for a week or two... then it gets a bit samey...

But the price was great and the graphics were pretty nice, just lacked expansion, don't say somethings bad just because you get bored of it...

as i think i have said, i would rather pay alot once, but this game looks amazing so im willing to put up with reasonably high monthly :P
