I really think that the amount I would pay would strongly depend on the amount of administration interaction and work. If it turns out to be like UT with item drops, I wouldn't pay much. However if the gms are active and there are usual updates, events, etc, then I would be willing to pay a bit more.

Have you ever played an MMO where your items dropped and other players could pick them up?

If so; was it a game that made it far?

Didn't think so.

Also... these guys are Korean, I doubt there will be many live events. Probably a lot of tournament type things though.

Live Events are not such a big deal in a MMOFPS tournaments would basically take place of the Live Events in Huxley in my opinion.

Or maybe a 'double honor' type event every few weekends?
Yar? Nay?

I didn't vote because i am not sure what the Australian dollar is compared to yours, but in AUSD (Aussie dollars) i would be willing to pay around $10-$30

I will buy Huxely for the computer and Xbox 360 if for the computer the servers are free because Im already paying for xbox live. (Which is remarkably cheap considering its for every xbox live game and not just one like it would be in this case)

P.S. Xbox Live is $50 USD

I live near you, I was actually in Buford this weekend.

Anywho, it won't be free, MMO's are never free if they're good.

Id gladly throw out 15 USD's a month for this game...though id probably pay an unhealthy amount for this game as well. ^^

Default price

I think one time price of 45 to $54 would be better than monthly.
People dont usually like the idea of monthly paying for a game.

People who complain about monthly fees generally don't have a job, or a credit card.

I work for an hour, and make enought to pay for all 3 mmos I pay every month.

ONE hour out of my 50 hours a week.
Two hours for a ONE TIME purchase of the game when it first comes out.

I state again:

Yet I know probably 100's of people who are mainly college or high school students that find a way to play their current MMO's they're involved with. Go mow a couple lawns or shovel a few drives. There's your cash for the next couple months of game play. If less than $15 bothers you a month to play a game then you really haven't lived in the real world and had to pay bills, school tutition or other luxuries of life (which would include this future game).

$10-15 wouldn't be unreasonable. I'm guessing they will go with some type of batching options like most MMOs out there. IE:

$14.99 - 1 month
$12.99 - 3 months
$9.99-10.99 - 6 months

damn... games these days are $50 meaning you make at least $25 bucks an hour. but one hour paying for 3 mmos is like 30 to 45... i want your job

but yea, mow someones lawn or borrow someones power washer and clean one deck for 100 bucks. do this aside from your normal work day and maybe even have some money stashed for just your mmo.

i mean think about it. you can either buy a new game every other month costing 300 a year or one game for 50 and 15 a month for the rest of the year making it 215. thats 85 bucks saved which is well worth it if huxley proves to be what we all hope it will.
