Huxley Game, Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter Game, MMOFPS

I personaly would pay around ?7 as these seems the most accpetable price for a top class MMO like huxley. If this price increased i would probably still pay but i hope that its low at the start so that i can see if i like it.

I voted for $10 because thats the most reasonable price IMO but I would proble pay upto $15 max. But if it was $15 I would proble only play every other month or so.

1stly: My Phelosophy: You buy a game.(sappose a MMO) You should get content FREE. After all, you did buy the game. You dont see the Unreal Communtiy trying to make people pay for patches and extra maps and skins.
Yes, maintainig servers costs money, or say TIME not money. But, games would be more popular if they were free and didnt require more payments.

2ndly: "THE KIDDIES", first of all, I know many of 12-13 yearolds who can pawn any adult or teenager at any FPS. Someting wrong with getting pawned by a kid?! Not only that but the main portion of the gaming communtiy for any game, for any console and online or not, is the ages 12-15. There are more of us than you think.

1. Having a continuing story and added content AND your char on their server 24/7 requires monthly dev work and upkeep = need of steady money income. Hey its not my idea, but thats how MMOs work.

2. Its got nothing to do with "pwning", rather ppl using the word "pwn" as something cool and inventive, get my drift?

Secondly, those 12-13 year olds who "pawn" adults at any FPS, are terrible teammates, and painful to listen to on voice clients. Most major guilds stay away from too young and immature 1337 players. Because people who use the words pawn, l33t, and other retarded things of that nature should be taken outside and shot. Stick to counter-strike

Im afraid I have to /agree with previous poster.

Not every 13-year old are like that but unfortunatly most of the FPS players at that age are like this one:

They just cant handle and/or care about things like organization or civil manners. Of course, that goes for some adults as well...

You have to remember that bandwidth is the number one cost in maintaining a server, which means that as a game gets more popular, its server maintenence costs get more expensive. This translates to more down time more often, unless they make the gamers pay more, so they can have more reliable, faster servers.
*edit: this means that server costs spike very quickly, which means that prices should fluctuate as well.

And I know 18 year olds who are like that kid. Kinda sad really, when you get angry over something that's supposed to be fun.

Know this post isnt really to do with the topic in hand... but while watching that video, it makes me feel very good about my decision not to have kids. LOL!

For me its more of a selfish reason. To keep it short and sweet... I rather spoil myself then create monsters like that in the video!

Know it has to do with how you raise your kid, unfortunatly these days parents are lacking in that department!

God bless admins that ban annoying kids and adults! If someone can one day make a filter for voice comm...... you will be a very rich man!

I wouln't pay too much, right now playing wow is costing me $38AUD every 2 months so if it was cheaper than that, woot!

Good thing that I wil be playing Huxley on the PC and not on a console becuase the average age of gamers on the PC (maybe even consoles?) is around.. 30 to 35..? some were around that. but most defenently not 12..

I also just started playing WOW(old guild went there so had to follow) and I find the community very very bad becuase of all the kids. I also believe that WOW is one of the more cheaper MMOs out there.

How much should be based on how much the game offers. Games like WoW that are 14.99 and offer so little content are a rip off. Games like FFXI that are 12.99 and over tons of content are worth it. So if the gameplay is deep, fun, and entertaining filled with tons of things to do I wouldnt mind paying 14.99. Whatever they do, dont charge me alot of money for s*** bc I wont pay or play the game.

OK lemme set everyone straight so we can get back to the real topic of this post "how much you would pay for Huxley?"

1. First off not all kids who pwn are "terrible teamates" while many are.. not all just a some bad ******** that ruin the whole age group 2. Young kids do take up alot of the FPS fanbase and whover said no one asked for your opinion (drsomewhere) this is a public forum............

Hi all, i've known about huxley for a while now, and i would like to say, well done for coming out with the best idea for a game in my eyes.

On the other note, i think ?10 would be a sutible amount for Huxley, if you go over that i dont think most people will play, as the major downfall in most MMOs are the cost of playing. So, i think ?10 will be a fair amount that most people will like
