Planetside was a very emersive game? I and hundreds of others were completely hooked, some sundays id end up playing all day long without realising, that id never got from a game before.

Theres a common joke amongst the community in that they call the game Planetcrack because very few people manage to leave and actually stay away on their first or even 2nd attempts.. I myself threw in the town no less than 5 times, sometimes only for a few weeks, sometimes for several months but sooner or later i wanted to play again. Thats a pretty common story.

I also know that your planetside experience varies greatly depending on who you play with, find yourself a good outfit and it makes for a fantastic playing experience. Then there are those "moments" in game, like the first time you see a bridge battle where two entire oppsoing armies fight for control of a bridge and you have 100+ people on each side blasting the hell out of each other. Your first hotdrop from a galaxy dropship with a squad dropping with you. Your first organised generator hold, where you spend 40+ minutes deep behind enemy lines with only the people and the equipment that came with you, and what you can salvage from enemy dead, under constant and intense enemy fire and actually having the entire squad run out of ammunition and finally get beaten trying to knife the enemy as they come through

PS had loads of problems, but it was a succesful game, hence its still going after 3 years, it just wasnt a hugely successful game.

With regards to 360 live subs.. if Microsoft beleives that Huxley is good enough, and bare in mind it will be a completely unique game for the console market, it will make concessions to WebZen, because it will shift 360's off the shelf at a time when the PS3 is launching.

i have a system, i never wory about how much the mounthly fee is so long as i am only paying for one game/account i would be happy to pay $20 a mounth if they made it the way some forine games are... where you never need to buy the game but you need to spend the extra little bit a mounth... realisticly it will probly be another buy the game box and spend the 10-15 bucks a mounth like basicly every mmo out.

I would pay maximum of 15$ a month becuase thats the general price of other higher quality MMOs, 20$ would be pushing it a bit.

Most MMOGs charge around $12-$13/month wth incemental discounts as you purchase larger chunks of time (i.e.: 3 months, 6 months and 1 year).

Yeah I'd pay $10-$15 dollars a month for this game if it even comes close to what it says its going to be.

I've Played Planet Side for about 3years now, and I love the fact the battles were so huge at release...the game is all but dead now. The "Die-Hards" are what keeps that game going.

I've played World of Warcraft...that was a Super game at launch...but then it resorted to a "Has been EQ raiders Game" And is pretty boring at end game...they have'nt even release an expansion and all the content is for raiders.

I'm will certianly be trying this game out at least...as will a host of other gamers will...(mainly World of Warcraft and Planet Side players I'd assume).

If the game has good customer support (game master, tech support, billing, etc.) and timely updates/patches then I am completely comfortable paying $15.

Not necassarily, as ive said, microsoft may use Huxley like it used Halo.. as killer app. If you think about it, huxley is scheduled for release very close to the PS3 release date, if people see a game that looks as good as huxley and has that kind of playability.. but its only on the xbobx 360 and the live service? well they are gona stick with the 360, so for that sake of shifting consoles microsoft will likely either cover or subsidise the subscriptions.

I'll admit most MMO's take like 10-15 dollars. But I'll pay atleast 5. It's easier to count and it's not that bad. Think about this: 5000 people playing each pays 5 dollars. 5000x5=25000. That will definetly pay for maintenance. It's usually 10-15 dollars because the company is ruled by greedy piles of $h!T called " executives".

lol not true, not true at all mmo's come with a free mounth to get people hooked so he will be able to play for a mounth then he needs to pay up or find another copy of the game or a time card often sold in stores... or he could even just got back to cs.

Yeah most companies do that just to drown themselves in money anywayz but still if the game is as good as it sounds i would care less as long as i got a big @$$ mini in my hands and a hover car parked on the side of the road
