Default Xbox 360 & PC Cross Platform Support

So will PC users play with 360 users simultaneously in this virtual world? That was the impression I was getting reading on a specific thread.

Also, I know this kinda has the whole Everquest / WoW affect to the gameplay, from some things i'm seeing, but is there also some similarities to planetside?

I LOVED planetside, it just lacked a better engine. To me, a bad A planetside would totally dominate, and I was just wondering if this game is planetside (IE: Massive pvp battles) and also Everquest as well (IE: take a group into a dungeon). Sorry, looking for quick answers and I was curious what people had to say.

They said you will be able to play together with xboxers from PC but only in cities, that was mentioned long ago so myabe they will even cut that out...
I never even heard of planetside before Huxley which wasn't been very long time ago so i haven't played Planetside but i can tell you one thing, there won't be any magic nor spells which makes it simply very advanced FPS system

Planetside :D oh man I played that for 2 years.. the game itsself is 4 years old.. SOE=Sony Online Entertainment let it die about the time they let BFR'S in the game...also when half the population left..
planetside is where I first heard of Huxley... I uninstalled planetside instantly to make room for huxley... then Ifound out.. it isnt even on closed beta yet!!!
Ugh.. what a mistake.. anyways huxley will wipe out planetside... Yay Huxley! also there is another fansite for huxley called
huxley-evolved.com.< This site isnt as good as huxleygame.com but w/e as long as it has huxley in it right?

Arrow Xbox And PC

You can interact with other players in-game but you cannot PvP against players on different platforms, you are able to trade, buy and sell from players of other platforms though.

Wasn't there something that said 360 players and PC players MIGHT be able to play together in special game modes. Something like each PC team has some xbox360 players who are more powerful than anyone else and kind of play a key role in the game. But only on certain battlefields that have a special gametype or something.

Maybe I was just dreaming about that, but I think I saw it said somewhere.

The one thing I was hoping Huxley might have is the concept of continual global war. That was planetside. You signup, get on a team, and all 3 teams are constantly battling for world domination. You see a somewhat empty continent, grab a team, and attack and hack the first base, then as you start to take it over, you could suddenly have a huge war on your hands as the other team may send it ground armor, planets, etc to defend and attack. I loved tha tconcept. Then you had your classes of players. I can planet turrets mines, etc etc to defend, mount a gun, drive a tank, fly a plane, play sniper, ground assault kinda sucked hence the need fo ra new engine, oh yeah, mech type warriors.....gah, /rant

Anyways, is this huxley with everquest / WoW additions to group up and go into "old term" zones to fight NPC mods / bosses?

Great feedback all. I'm liking the thread

And I wonder how one gets into Beta. i'd love to assist. I saw some posts that made me think people were playing in beta.

Beta hasn't started yet, but we'll all be screaming when it does. and of course if we can get in

as for basic gameplay. Yeah it'll have PvP battlefields, PvE battlefields, and battlefields with a mix of PvE and PvP. the PvP battlefields can hold up to 200 players and I don't think anyone knows how many the PvE fields can hold. I don't even know if you need to group up to go into the PvE battlefields, I'm just assuming you will because I assume they'll be mission based and everyone will need to be on the same part of the mission to do it. The PvE battlfields will have NPC mobs to fight and I suppose they'll have bosses too, but I don't think anyone has confirmed bosses being in there, I just figure they'd have it.

As for basic classes that will be in the game, I suggest checking out this main site, Huxleygame.com or any other game site and read the interviews that you can find. They explain anything that anyone knows.

If you need further information than the interviews provide, search around on these forums, I'm pretty sure they're the most active forums by far and we've discussed almost anything you could think of in great depth. The only thing is, most of the stuff we discuss is what we think will be in the game or what we want to be in the game, so the interviews are your best bet to find straight answers for your questions. Any questions you can't find answered in an interview will probably be in these forums and there will probably be a few pages discussing what might happen.

I'm also hoping for a non-stop global war. There is definitely a war in Huxley (the 2 playable sides are fighting for an energy source which I see as a war). We just don't know if there is going to be a persistant world map or something where you take over one battlefield and then have to move up to the next territory and make progress though the world map, eventually taking over all of the battlefields that you can. We do know however that the capital cities that each faction has can't be fought in and therefor can't be taken over, so I think it's safe to say the war won't ever end. Though it'll be a nice victory if any side manages to take over all of the possible zones

Yeah I just figured this site had anything the other will. I actually just read through a couple threads on Huxley Main Page and it was all stuff that this site discussed a long time ago.

I'm not sure if a bunch of people from this site check that site but they're asking all the same questions that we answered a long time ago. Stuff like what the level cap will be, where you can fight, if there will be professions and of course when the game releases lol.

I suppose either one works though :D

That'll be awesome once they release a full site about Huxley. Then finally we'll have a place were we know we'll get the fastest information that's actually correct haha.

Maybe after they get through this upcomming beta

if pc and 360 can fight 360 will need aim assist. The 360 controllers do not have the oixal accuracy of mouses and thier computer so pc will have to keep very good tracking skills and 360s will have aim assisst.a weak little magnet like in halo and halo2 how helpful will that be.
