Ok, most of us are nerds. We stay inside all day long and have fewer friends than most people. -
Anyways, that got me thinking about realism in Huxley. There are certain MMO's out there that allow the unity of two souls through ceremony. I , of course, am talking about marriage.

People love to role play in games - and well, how can the fight continue without making more soldiers eh?

Do you think Webzen will go this far as to realism and player interactivity?

Can't really understand why that should be possible, plus there are extremely few girls playing PC games, aspecialy FPS. Most girls play Sims and such crap :P
Plus it's a shooting game why would anyone have a wedding in game?

Doesn't seem to be mature to me, it's like to say that if a African have a child with let's say Enlgish person it doesn't mean they will have a chinese child. Plus it's a game where you can't have children, it's MMOFPS. Speaking of which, will there be any children running around in cities? Cause i haven't seen any...

lol people allways do that over games and stuff, its like on the other crappy rpg games, but i highly doubt it, wait i dont highly doubt it, its never going to happen!! but itd be weird and very boring, we play games for the action the plot and some other crap thats cool and fun.
also to the female players bit. for all those who play gunz, youll notice that about half of players are female, maybe even about 55% females, (they are really annoying when they start jumping around wuth their poxy swords and shotguns!), now about 5% of that 55% of female players are infact male, and so all you people here youd be surprised how many females will play, there are even a few females who are assigned to this forum.

Well your example is a bad one, this is more like comparing a monkey together with a bird. Read the information about the game and you'll notice that Sapiens and Alternatives aren't very related.

All of those three races came from one, pretty much like White, Black and Yellow people. So the example is perfect. One root -> Three races, same in the game as for us in real life. Scientist have done test and proved that all of us came from africa cause a bacteria that lives only in africa came to our countries through the great-grand-grand-grand parents (many times more grand).

Plus the gens of 2 races cant build gens from totaly other race.

That's exactly what mutations are.
When you breed a horse and a donkey, it creates a mule.
When you breed a tiger and a lion, it creates a lyger (and yes they are real, CNN did a big story on it).
Though, both the mule and lyger are left sterile and cannot breed.
It's even the same for dogs- a chiwauwa and a greyhound - they make something >.> but you get my point.
It can be a possibility that hybrid creatures are asexual, that's why theres so many. Godzilla was an ordinary iguana until nuclear testing, then BAM, Godzilla the asexual.

Genes work in very funny ways, especially with mutations (alternatives) involved.

What i've meant was, if you mix horse and a donkey you wont get a zebra. By mixing 2 differnet gens you cant get something that none of those 2 have. Mutation happens because of something changes DNA structure. Can be either other DNA or something like radiation, which simply destroys your cells and it's core where the DNA is. That's why you start to lose hair and other sideeffect. So if you mix Horse with a donkey you will get a mix between those two, you wont get Zebra cause none of those animals have zebras DNA. So bro you simply misunderstood me =)

P.S: For people not to misunderstand me i gave the example about if a Black breeds with White they wont get a asian child. Cause black people dont have the asian DNA nor do the white people.
Ohh and do read, i said to build gens of TOTALY DIFFERENT race which means that they have nothing incommon. :P

This is a game, and in this case, if you mix a Sapien with an Alternative you get a Hybrid. That's the way it happens, I'm sorry to breach your bubble, but you're just gonna have to accept that this is the way it happens in Huxley. It's not IRL.

Something doesn't have to look like a relative in order to be related to an other race, i.e. wales and fishes are like humans and tigers lol. In this case a Hybrid doesn't really look like neither a Sapien nor Alternative, but they're related anyway.

Nicely put. But I was mainly talking about the human-ish hybrids. Though it is odd how the lesser hybrids come in different forms and in the thousands. I'm thinking a sapien and alternative mate and have the human-ish hybrid like Romeo or Carla. Do you suppose that Romeo and Carla mated and made their own kingdom? Or maybe the hybrids are made like Aliens from AvP and etc? This thread has brought alot of odd questions about.
