Weird Tags On Cloth

Well i was viewing many screenshots from Huxley, and this had my attention for some time now. On many screenshots you can see that players have some kind of sign on their shoulders. Here is an example:


SO i thought i could gather some and we could discuss what it could be. These tags are mostly on arms in shoulder area. I seen both factions having same tags so it's not like one only. I had a thought maybe it's clan tags? But then again how come both factions have same looking tags then? Maybe cloth marks? I dunno, shows what grade and type it is? Doubt it, cause here is another tag that i found on somebodies legs:


So what could these be for then? Anyhow i took some with me that i found so here they are:

This one looks like something red is bind itsel with something white o.0 Like 2 snakes.


Well this is a white bird on the tag, dunno what it could mean.


Monkey King.


Totaly red monkey face tag o.0


This one is off of alteraver, skull and bone?


White Heart.. lol?


Cant tell what this tag has for sign on it, could't find better quality.


Anyhow guys, come on, any ideas what these tags are for?
Would be happy if you could find some more of these tags or better quality.
Maybe they show waht class or vehicles you drive? Doubt it saw a whole squad with same tags. Squad Tags? I dunno, what would be the point of that?

I see the second picture and like it alot. It seems to tell us what class he is and what level his weapon specialty is.

lol Yeah the second picture is just prove that those tags doesnt serve as that tag on which you can see the info on the cloth. SO what those tags with pictures on could be? By the way search for more of these tags would be great to see :P

I think I read someplace that people could design their own symbol / banner (some crap like that) for their guild / clan. If that is true, we'll probably see alot of different symbols like these in the future.

it seems like a clan thing. Like guild tabards in WoW accept not so damn ugly and it doesn't cover up all of your armor.

It would be nice if it was indeed a clan symbole just to add some more customization. Plus I like represeting the clan I'm in :D.

Other than clan tags, other random lables they might have you guys pretty much suggested: class/weapon type.

I wonder if we'll even be able to put different tags on our armor/weapons/vehicles. Not just for representing our clan but just little things you can put on there for enjoyment. Like if you're an enforcer that likes to rush into battle and blow everything up you put some patch with a little saying on it like "I blow stuff up" (accept the saying would sound cool lol I don't feel like thinking). Just for fun :D

I think......Monkey=sapiens...I've seen monkey tag only on sapiens...So it makes me think....The first tag is from a big hevy armored dude(sapiens)..So it makes me think that is a dude who is allmost highest lvl in the game...Because th highest armor i saw was blue...on a scetch...And this tags can provoke enemys..Something like "I chalge you to a rock off"...Two snakes??Yeah one sapiens and one alt....I think thats a combine tag...first tag is:Sapiens,Armored,Enforcer....By the way....maybe thats rank?Monkey king:"You get this tag if you did blow some alt cum...arghhhh"<

I think i might have the answer to these tags:

For guilds or clans, each uniform has a shoulder patch to identify them as belonging to one group or another. Clan patches are custom made by each group.

The patch could be there to show if the armor is light, medium, or heavy, like heart for light, monkey for medium and snakes for heavy?

Well i saw few screenshots with something writen on the weapon, couldn't acctualy tel lwhat it was but different weapons had different things, who knows? Webzen only :D

Ohh and Sixon, that's why i posted the screen of your idea so nobody will have that idea cause there are other tags to cover that up =)
I believe that it has to be Clantags, or different groups depends on what groups as Heddan mentioned.

Hmm i found something, that might take out the possibility of this tags being Clan Tags. Look at this:

As you see it's character creation screen, this screen was post by Grind right here . So people as you see, that character already has the Monkey King tag on his shoulder. What could this mean in this case?

I doubt that's what it means. There is a possibility that Monkey King was just an example and nothing to really worry about.

And on topic, good work finding all of those tags. Some of them are really cool but I guess will find out what they mean, if they mean anything, when the game is released.

ANd yeah i do have lots of time, it's summer lol :D And i got no sommarjobb för fan. Anyhow, since i got lots of time and i love Huxley, thought i could use this forum and help it out will getting some info on Huxley for me and for other people too

I'm hoping for the icons to be some sort of indication of Clan. However, I wouldn't mind if on one shoulder it has a clan icon, and the other has player identification or something like that.
