A Word To The Distributers

The game looks great form what I've seen, but I need to be able to try a demo of the full version before I consider playing the game. World of Warcraft has a 10 day free trial that puts you into the full game with very few limitations. This game looks like what I have been imagining for some time, but I need to make sure this game would be something I would spend years playing.

There is no doubt in my mind that they haven't thought of trials and things of the like for the public to use. This forum isn't exactly- their only source for communication to the public. Most of the ideas that we state, they won't even use because of what people can do if the ideas are similar to what they have in the game. If I say they should have heat seeking rockets, and it is in the game, I could sue them for stealing "my" idea. It's complicated, but that's why most game companies only take advice and not ideas.

Anyways- I'm not saying it's your idea or the fact that no one else has thought of this. The only thing we can do now, to help discourage uproars, is to wait patiently and see how Webzen plays their cards and how we raise the bet.

Well one thing for sure, to sue somebody is one thign and to win that court is another. I mean if you have your idea that is never been heard fo before and not even close, then sure you can sue the guy and win. But if yo usue them for using the idea about the heatseeking rockets, you'll lose cause the idea isn't yours, there are true rockets that work that way so they say they consulted specialists in that area and you lost.
Of caurse any new game before coming out releases a demo and after when the game is out and if it's p2p then they release trials. But until it's coming out it's a long time and maybe it would be delayed again.

PS: I know what you meant by th sue thing and i got the point but i just specified the case.

Plus, if it doesn't release a trial version, you will always have an open beta before the game is released
