Huxley Racing Grounds?

Well i've gotten an idea, thought what if there were races, you could place bets or race by yourself.
After the purchasing a vehicle you could start racing for money or other rewards. There would be a Garage for your vehicle near your appartment or something where you could add parts to your vehicle, so it could have better turning abillity, buy better engine to go fast, have better wheels and such. After you could even Buy parts for the wheels so the vehicle could do minor jumps like in UT04, and there would be arena for tricks and if you do coolest tricks you get rewards.
Well you get the idea, you might add something, you might dislike it.
Why having racing in MMOFPS? When you had a terrible Battle Ground round and you don't feel like shooting, you mostly go to market to look for new stuff, but why not take down the sadness by some racing or trick challange, which is pretty fun?

Your idea is awesome. It sounds like alot of fun and it would be great to be able to bet on and race in races.

Well yeah i thought, since they mix FPS with MMORPG, so why not mix in some racing, i mean i like the idea and many other people would like it too.

Plus maybe there would be some other racing grounds where you race on fields where monsters are, and only for that mode there are small attachable guns to your car and you ride around and kill mobs like that after when round ends the winner is who gots most kills.
Or they could even make like you race against players and you have differant guns on you car that are only allowed in the arena and you must kill the opponents and you get points for that. There would be like repairig kits laying around so if your car got smashed a bit you could repair a bit too :P

Holy snap! Me and Sixon had the same idea when were were fixing up his dad's race car after he got in a crash on the track. I was like "Dude!....What if you could race in Huxley?"

Yes, Sixon, he's a friend of mine- kind of a side kick. He joined these forums not long ago.
He is kinda redneck so you see where the racing ideas happened. (aka NASCAR)

thats an awsome idea amagine adding some noss 2 your car for a quik boost would be sick and if yur board in the city you could challenge 1 or yur friends to a race at the junkyard

I'm sure if not directly implemented into the game by the Developers, we the community, could easily arrange it ourselves. Have a start, a finish, some players with vehicles willing to race and we're set. Gambling? why not? Have several higher lvl. chars present to handle any inconveniences.

exactly what was gonna say its actually very likely we can do that, midnight club style and as a community we can "accidently"run over noobs for fun.And with vehicle custimzation maybe or perhaps destruction derby with guns and lots of explosions on battlefields?

very true anything the devs don't put into the game we can pretty much set up ourselves.

the racing might even be better if we set it up ourselves so we could do it whenever, wherever want. But it would probably get used more if there was an actual ingame zone or mission to do it so people could easily have it set up for them.

I would like to see it in the game wether it's put their by devs or organized by players
