Referring to this topic:

Coordinating A Server For This Community

There are many cool people here, and I want to play alongside many of you. Seems we'll not only be split betwen sapiens and alternatives, but also betwen PC servers and X-box servers as there will be no cross-console servers.

Me? I'm going PC and most probably Alternatives.

Haha i haven't deciced on the clas race and bla bla yet but playing it on xBox is a pain in the ass for me... No proper aiming so i pass on xBox ^^ PC ftw

Looks like I may be able to play this on PC after all. I mean, even if it'll be Vista exclusive.
If they're really going to reduce the price on Vista, I may be able to put it on the Christmas wishlist without giving my parents a heart attack.
Ok, I CAN really afford it myself, but I'm a bit like Scrooge McDuck in the money way. 'sides, I don't feel like burning that much money off myself for something that sucks. And Vista sucks bigtime, atleast at the moment.

How can you say that? I find the mouse a really good way to aim when playing shooters.
Although, I don't have much to say on that matter as I haven't played any FPS on X-box. Infact, the only time I've played X-box was when testing it at the store.
What control could possibly be better than mouse and keyboard? SHOW ME!

(Last sentence not angry. Just couldn't find a fitting smiley for it)

(Besides...that's the FIRST x-box vote so far (out of 7, but still...))

Mouse is better for aiming; a controller is better for everything else.
Also there'd be a server for both systems >_> It'd be stupid to have a "huxleygame.com" server for just one platform.

Huxley has been touting cross platform play for a long time. The only thing is you can not pvp between a PC and consoles because console players would complain about mice and keyboards. So you just have to worry about who you wanna PvP with.

Well PC gamers don't like xBox because they can't play it well,
And Xbox gamers don't like PC for the same reason. :D

The way people vote for races is good, so there wont be too many of one kind on one side which brings fairness.

PS: All PC havent decided yet vote for sapiens! NOW! :D

Jesus I meant that both ones would have a different server if it wasn't cross platform. There's no reason to limit it to just 1 system for the community.

And personally I think people are over reaching the aiming with mouse thing, just turn sensitivity up on the controller and blammo. Not to mention PC users are limited to how fast they can turn.

Well it's not like im showing off or anything, but i have Logitech G5 and boy i can tell you that's a fast mouse. Plus with mouse the movement of your weapons and stuff are less "Robotic" so to say, more of freedom.

Ive played CS for both xbox and pc, and I can tell you without a doubt that and many other games are way better for the pc. (I have the 360 and GoW and halo 3 beta, I still dont really like console fps's). Consoles are way better for racing games, games like oblivion, stuff like final fantasy, and more of the big bad ass ground breaking internet games I would much rather play on PC.

I think Webzen should take some time redesigning atleast one of the sapiens races to look cooler. I'm really surprized to see that the villian faction is the most popular one...

Who said they are the villains? Both races are fighting for survival, how is that evil or good in any way?

You're right. But the reason I'm worried is the fact that Alternatives probably will be the prefered race, making the server population imbalanced. Well, not if there'd be a population limit on each side. The only problem then would be to buy the game and reserve an Alternix Avenger / Phantom. Not that that'll be much of a problem
