Just to let you know on question 6 you used For instance at the beginning of the second sentence and then for example at the end. But they are Korean, I suppose they arent perfect at english either.

Hahaha think how funny it would be if we sent them an attachment with a Korean translation of the interview....but we used a cheap online translator because none of us speak korean as far as i know, and it translated it into nonsense

depending on if they respond or not. I think you should send it again and continue to try and get in contact with them.
Just because they didn't respond the first time doesn't mean they never will. They might have just missed the e-mail or had other things to deal with, we don't know. So if they don't respond, I would say don't give up and try sending it multiple times. Might as well keep trying at least :D |

Welll for anything you say? *Evil-Laughs*
If you are up for anything then find out where they are and go to Korean or where-ever and do the interview

As i said when this post was created (well it is deleted now) there is no point for Webzen to answer this. If they want to give an interview they will contact journalists. It's their job and they know how to do it.
I don't say that your questions are not good but first journalist's question will always be better (they went to university to learn it... so how do you think you can do better job than them?) and second the point of an interview is to let the public discover a game. Here it's a fan site so you all know this game, it's a better choice for them to give an interview to a large public site, like gamekult, with people that will discover the game -or learn more about it - thanks to the interview. I'm not flemming anyone your questions are interesting i'm just trying to be realist. ps: don't forget Webzen is a korean developper, i don't know if you ever play a korean game but they simply don't care of non-korean... Of course they will be happy to take our money but not our opinions... |

Chances are they're blending these cultures to attract American and European gamers, but they could really care less about what they think. Sorry to be pessimistic, but its probably true.

I'm almost 100% positive they already read all these questions.
One of their duties is to check the game impact on communities of gamers, see gamers opinions, assimilate ideas they find interesting. As Zaratoustra sais there is no reason for webzen to answer, beside if they answer now there is nothing new and innovative left to show in an official game presentation or something similar. |

I have a question and the answer to that really bothers me so ill give a try and post in a journalistic way:
"We all know the incredible success of MU Online and the latest Webzen release Soul of Ultimate Nations. SUN beta version was released in 2006 only in Korea, the commercial version was also released fist in Korea with plans to release in China,Taiwan and maybe other regions in the next year. Can you please tell us your intentions with Huxley, how will Webzen proceed with Huxley release? Will be a beta and final Korean release like Webzen did with SUN so american and european players will have to wait approximately another year for the release in their regions or will Huxley launch simultaneously world wide? Please be HONEST! Thank you." I also read Cindy's interview but its hard to bite it: "Finally, can you reveal anything about WEBZEN’s plans for this year, next year? Cindy Armstrong: Yes, the immediate plan is to launch “Soul of the Ultimate Nation” in the first half of next year. Shortly thereafter, before the end of the year, Huxley will launch. We are anxious to do some focus on Project Wiki because I think there’s potential for that more casual gamer. It’s a game that has lot more depth than it looks like on the surface; easy to get into, etc. It has more of an anime style, but I think there’s a very good market for that also." Another thing that worries me is Webzen's low interest to share news about Huxley anywhere else than asian sites. Last edited by Joker_xxx; 12-07-2007 at 10:42 AM. |

Well what worries me is that they have this damn company with multiple games and they dont concentrate fully on one. I mean there is no company that make a release for 2 games at once or close to eachother cause thats bad for business and that's why i think it's bad that they have many games on count. First the yrelease one game then after few month only other.
If they had only Huxley then they would concentrate only on it's release and how to make it sound more cooler, but since they are huge company they dont really worries about how good the game will seel since they think " Ohhh we are large company- we have many games! - We get lots of money from all of them and we dont need to specialy care about precisly one of them". It's like if Blizzard released Diablo 3 and Starcraft 3 at the same time, people who love Blizzard they love both games and they would be running in disarray and didnt know what to buy what to play which would lower the income and other consecvinces. So that's why im worried about the Webzen having too many games to be released, hope you understand my opinion.
