Will this game have some sort of an ut feel to it during combat or will it be more like css/bf2 where more skill is involved. I never cared much for ut fighting style because it seemed like most the time all you had was artards jumping and firing rockets at your feet. Given the circumstance I guess that is a valid tactic though its very simple to kill people. So why use any other gun mid range?
I'm hoping for a slower paced skillful game out of this. Also are maps going to be bf2 or ut deathmatch sized? |

I'm hoping this will be good in both pve and pvp. The fast paced futuristic UT style of playing does not interest me at all though I'll still try this out. Your right arawn I'm hoping for an original gaming experience out of this because right now I'm a little hesitant about this.
I would think that if its a rpg that they would want a little more skill involved so maybe they'll still incorporate this and keep my interest. Also how is pve a small part of the game? Don't you have to loot weapons and armor? How could it be small if your whole pvp experience will depend on how good of armor and weapons you can get as well as some skill? |

this is an mmo, not a fps like battlefield or counter-strike, there is no maximum amount of people allowed in a battle. it's a world and you're in it, if you want to be in an area where a fights going on you simply go there. there are no "maps", you're in a world. it's gonna be like any other mmo like DAoC, WoW, EQ etc. with the distinct difference that it's first person and a shooter, that's all.
edit: well if murvel is correct about a maximum amount then wow that's pretty flippin lame. |

it would certainly defeat the purpose of calling it an MMO and having servers with different battle types. the battle types were reffered to different scenarios of battle in game such like capture the flag etc. you're still part of your 1 server in that world with those battlefields in that server. if it were otherwise then it would be like calling Diablo an MMO and that's a joke. you talk about maps as if the server is going to end in time and change maps like a battlefield or cs game, i'm sure it doesn't work that way. either way, the max limit of people is lame. where's the world pvp between factions? sounds like a bunch of instance pvp or a similar attempt at planetside. if you happen to be right about what you said then i guess that's just another korean mmo down the drain.

There will be world PvP, however there will also be persistent battlefields for those who want a quick fight. Multiple gametypes help bring in gamers from the different parts of gaming.
