Yeah, bleeding would be very cool, like someone said earlier though, they will want the largest community they can get, so gore would probably take a fall on that. However, there is always the option of having gore a selectable option, either disable, or enable it. I think that would still afford the "teen" rating, while givng us older games, who are looking for action, and some realism to go with it. I mean, if I am playing a game where some guy has the potential to get blasted in the face with a shotty, I want that person's face to reflect "shotgun blast" damage. The skull oesn't have to fly apart or anything like that, but at least some blood, and gore would be nice. even for the effect of realism... People don't get shot without bleeding, and from the video's i have seen, the NPC classes look pretty evil looking, and they don't look like they would mind getting a little bloody, I think it would take away from the game if the gore level was cut down too much.

Though I would like to see gore, some posts here have said keeping it to a T level would be good, so that Huxley has a larger audience... This is only part true.
If they keep the blood in Huxley to a level where it gets rated T, it will let more players in, but gore also attracts certain people to a game that they may not look at if it wasn't gorey... Thats what draws a few of my friends to games, and I would like to see them play Huxley along with me. |

if a t rating could include some blood squirts on a hit and leaves a stain on the player/enviornmewnt it be good. Gibbing is fun but not too realistic and can just make the game more intensive to run. I rather have it run good and use blood as a realistic and visual cue to help gameplay.

I'm guessing alot of people would turn off the gore to save on the resources it uses up. It isn't really adding to the gameplay so in a multiplay environment it isn't something that should be included. Gore would be more for a single player game where you know exactly what resources are being used in the different areas. I think it would be pretty neat to see a zergling sliced in half by a minigun on a tank, but I don't think the drawbacks are worth it.

Besides Carnage, I'm sure there can be something out there that might be able to handle it. Alot of serious gaming machines are out there, I wouldn't be surprised. |
