Huxley Money

Before I start of with my discussion I would like to say that Huxley has been getting little publicity and hasn't showed in many magazines games of 2007.

Thats why I would like to call the community to send message to any gaming community or gaming magazine you wish of what a terrific game Huxely game be.

Onto the discussion.

What will you do for money in the beggining of the game?

Shall you taxi rich players? Will you collect valuable items for someone?
Or shall you rot in someones house doing errand for them?

I think you loot and sell things.(not completly sure)

Well, errands will be a big part of the game.
Controlling resources might get you the most income, so combat is the only way to get the economy up in the begginng.

I might start a guild in the beggining so I can become financially sucessfull in the game.

Lol i have a different way to get money, and whoever is on my ingame server will probably soon know my name (nothing against the rules )

i will prob do it the sucker way on missons till i find a guild and work for them
an slowly clime the ladder


but wont everyone start that way because i m sure it would cost money to get up a shop and everyone will be poor at the start with that said wont some guilds look for 100s of members that have to give like 50% of there money to there guild for mates rates weapons, i m sure som ppl would want to lead this organised farming syndicates

It be cool if you had guilds as families and rivals families have there own turf that be sweet and when on a mission you can steal loot from them, be like imposters into guilds that realy work for another family/guild

sound cool or leave it to a mafia mmo fps

and now for my final thought ..... families instead of guilds sounds more mature ,guilds sounds so middle ages! /wow/13 year old teens.

Lol, my amazing plan includes a few people dieing :P, i really hope they add guild verse guild combat, and the ability to put other guilds as hostile, it would oh so much help me and mandalores plans, oh and Impulsive are you in a clan called DS (defenders of soverignty)

ok but realy do people still use the world guild today? in real life ,dont they use the world ,team,group,clan,organisation,squad,family :P



your like the Capones but you organise syndicates like farming, looting ,trafficing stuff like wepons,armor an own shops and motels and rage war on other familys, own spys that check out the other familys prices so you can adjust prices on your own stuff ,rent body guards out to people and hire out mercenaries to help rich kids do missions and do your dirty work ,ect ect ect

Well, I plan to run a bisnuess, getting some laborers (Not Chinese people
) but normal players mostly newbies who will gather supplies for trade.

Noobs don't provide supplies or services, they provide corpses for necromancy.

Well there will be player-made quests. Not sure how they will work but im guessing you can put out there that you need 100 units of whatever and you will pay x amount. Anyone can do your quest and get the money.

There is a fairly new Gamespy preview of Huxley, only about a month old. Lots of new info.

Heck, you can go down to the Chinatown district of any city and create quests for other players, so if you're too lazy to go out and earn some ammo or items, you can post a quest that outlines what you need and what you'll give.

Something else i found interesting:
-You can only have 1 character per server
-When you die you suffer a small armor penalty
-There will definitely be a mechanic profession with the ability to repair vehicles in battle and out.

read it,i all so viewed a movie on utube lastnight showing chinatown ,npc action and tunnels you go though to enter quest or pvp matchs and a train but they didint get on it just watched it zoom by
