In this video you can see when the guy wanders and sees no enemies he takes few shots at his teammate with rocket launcher. Teammate doesn't die which means that FF = Off. But that's only in that video maybe they will have frinedly fire i dunno.

Ofcourse it will be off. Too much havoc would occur with it on. Alot of MMO's and FPS's have it turned off as well all for the same reason. Retarded noobs and unsporting players.
BUT - You can kiss your dream of there being bounties away because of there being no friendly fire.

Well i believe that i have mentioned in the other topic that this function (FF = Off) may not be at all times. It will be Off most likely in every "Battle Zone" where you fight FOR your team and against the enemy. But as they mention, i believe they did that there will be PvP which can mean that FF = Off will only be in Battle Zones but outside it will be simply Shooting, ever played L2? Where if you want to attack somebody you just simply Hold CTRL and kill any player you want. It might have the same function in there so Bounty is still possible.

I'm sure when someone makes a Match, he will have the freedom to toggle FF on/off. In my opinion it should be an option for the person running the match, as should number of rounds, kills, points, etc.

I remember in one of the interviews/reviews they mentioned duals. So that means people can challange eachother when they want to something like in WoW.

I think FF-On is probably going to be the most likely feature in Huxley if they are aiming for a realistic look in the game. If you play games like Day of Defeat:Source they keep the FF-On, but i wonder if they'll kick you out after team killing because the maximum team kills you can have is usually three.

They could make it so whatever damage you do to your team mate is also done to you..Iv'e seen that in some games before.
**EDIT** and by that I don't mean by the enemy I mean if you accidentally or purposely hit teammate :P |

yeah, that might be hard to tell the difference...but I think that would be the best idea, so hopefully everyone would just avoid the idea of TK'in period. I have heard people saying that it might be easy for rockets and stuff to TK accidentally but when you think about it it really wouldn't be...I mean the shortest range is avenger, and that probably atleast 20 meters...so its not like there is meelee classes, i'm sure the meelee skills you can learn aren't meant to be focused on.

Well this idea can be used in a bad way, the higher lvl players who have more armor and HP kill lower lvl players and still have lots HP and armor left, go get some health and continue Team Killing in the same way.
BF series dealt with this problem smartly, if you shoot your teammate below 50% hp he will automaticly yell something like Cease Fire or Stop Firing or Check Your Fire and at that point you recieve minus points, if you teamkill you recieve even more minus points and if you did teamkilled there is a choice between forgiving or punishing the teamkiller, which gives either even more minus points or leaves the TK at the minus he have gotten.

That could easily dealt with...give everyone 100hp no matter what, like in plantside, but then the opponent has to rip thru your armor which WOULD be different in order to even get to your health...and that would solve the problem because TK's would go str8 to health.

Don't really understand why make a system against TK:ers that is very weird and which limits the possibilities, i mean limit the HP. I believe i've seen a video or screenshot where guy had above 100 HP. So why limit that possibility with confusing system? =)

Votekick would also e an good ption. Like, every 5 vokrkick you decend one level, or somethig similar...?
World of warcraft lacked that in the battlegonds, we all felt it. Some lame guy always yelled "go for Balinda" while in Alterac valley when we were in dite need of defense. I hate when retarded people cab screw up as many pervectly good battkles as they want without reciving punishment for ut.
