I think that I am just going to pre order it so that whenever the release date is "goldened" then I could just pick it up.

I went to the webzen site to try and find anything on a Huxley release date, or anything confirming the July release date that we have heard. when I typed webzen.com into my search bar, I got some options and clicked on the one that said Webzen Games. I found Huxley on the page and when I followed that link, on the top of the next page, it said it was coming this fall. Does that really mean anything? It was coming from Webzen, but sadly it disproves our optimistic July 1st release date.

Eh do you really think the console version would come out a year and a half before the PC? I suppose in theory MS could have bought the exclusivity to Huxley, but honestly that would come as a major press release, not 1 random site changing its dates. I would imagine that date is a typo, not that you should care regardless:

Just like in every other thread, I'm gonna tell you that retailers don't know anything and are very often wrong. If it doesn't come from the publisher, it's a guess as far as I'm concerned.

When is the acuall release date of this game ? The main huxley site says march, EB game / Gamestop say november. I would say Huxley's website is correct or maybe they forgot to update ?

Yeah, I'm not so sure about the 31st but I am hearing March from my friends, so I'm hoping, but there is no telling what's going to happen, but the game will be a hit.

Companies like gamestop do not change dates unless they receive something from the publisher eluding to such a thing. This is sad indeed that its been pushed back, November is a damn long time.

But hey on the brighter side maybe this means they will do a public beta outside of Korea...it could be possible that they might release it in Korea but are more worried about how picky Americans are about their MMOs. Of course this is all my own speculation but if you look at other Asian mmos and what they produce and what they consume, well Americans are a bit more critical of what they pay to play.....

I really doubt it'll come out in march, there would be a lot more stuff out about it if that was the case.

I've read both that it'll come out late 2008 as well as early 2009, so I'm guessing it'll be somewhere around there.

It's weird, it the videos it seems like the game runs pretty well but to have almost a whole year more before the game releases, they must have a lot of work left to do.

I really just wish they would release a fact sheet or something so we can know more of how the main ideas of the game will work. Maybe they're still changing ideas around, trying to find the best way for things to work out.

I've just got my fingers crossed, hoping it wont get canceled for some crazy reason a month or two before launch. *knocks on wood*

This thread is depressing. Its been years since I was remotely interested in a game. Huxley is my Holy Grail of games. Not to mention my whole clan is waiting anxiously thanks to me for hyping it up. I will be satisfied with an open Beta--holds breath then passes out.

According to the lastest quarterly report from webzen the release date has been pushed to the third quarter of 2008.

I remember when the original release date was July 2006.
