Lunarites

Has webzen stated what purpose lunarites will play in the actual gameplay? I think they would power bases(if there are bases) and other facilities, and they'd probably be the power source for energy weapons.

Please post your ideas. I would really like to hear them.

i guess it would be used to upgrade your gun or power it upand power up any weapon think there will be diff level or lunarites like pure lunarites and no even half lunarites all over o can be used to pay or buy or you can sell

i belive they are as well they are what game is supposed to revolve around ( i think dey even said its supposed to power cities) but in real life what revolves the world around( unfortunately but truly it is money)

It says in the story that the Alts and Sapiens were fighting over a powersource(lunarites) made by Doctor Huxley, thus the name Huxley.

i doubt lunarites are the game's currency. mabee a valuable resource. but according to the game's story, contact with lunarites causes mutation. it wouldnt make any sense to have daily contact with them.

Their probably held in small containers or cards that don't expose you to the actual lunarites. The reason I say cards is that it's supposed to be a power source, so maybe the lunarites are so powerful, that even a drop can power a weapon for hours.

Read the description for the MK2 assault rifle they have posted around here. It talks about lunarite charges in the ammunition IIRC. So something that powers up weapons, armors, vehicles, would be a good guess. If I'm not mistaken it's also the mutagen responsible for the hybrids and alternatives. According to the information I've read.

According to Webzen's story, and like Ghos7 and grim22x7 mentionned, it's a powersource. It's basically our "uranium/plutonium", I guess...

Although, I think it's Lunarites (mentionned at other places), it might even be Lunerites according to their website. Only time will tell...

At the heart of the war emerges a powerful energy source the Lunarites created by Huxley, a scientist and possible savior.

Both factions seek glory and victory, fighting mercilessly for the Lunerites and their very existence.

I haven't read the book yet, I'll probably do it this week or the next.

perhaps lunarites are like steroids. maybe to be in possession of these "lunarites" grants you abilities otherwise unachievable. its possible that this is the reason why they are deemed so valuable.

i wish less of this was guess work :(

most definately a powere source for possibly everything in the world, unlikely a currency source cause it seems to be very valuable so its possible most quests would revolve around attaining these lunarites from various means..

When I Picture Lunarites, I Picture a greenish Crystal like substance, a Solid panel almost, that you Break apart, and put into a weapon... and I Don't think it causes mutation... I Think it mixed with heat, and a meteor could have caused mutation, though...

I Know... But As I'm Thinking, I Think something that has ANYTHING to do with weapons, which are a major part of gameplay , are processed and made into usable pieces... I've read the story... Aldous Huxley, a person who actually is a real person, who wrote the book a new beginning, which is what Huxley is based on, Discovers a new energy source called lunarite... the Apocalypse begins, and the only source of energy that Stands tall still is lunarites...
