SO who here has read, is reading, or will read Aldous Huxley's Brave New World before playing Huxley?

Ik toch niet ze, ik lees een verhaal dat oorspronkelijk in het engels geschreven is altijd in het engels. Anders gaat er toch iets van het verhaal verloren.

In an early interview with the maker(s) of huxley he said it was roughly based on the book, hence the name.. but in later interviews they have said it was nothing to do with the book...

I want to read it to find out :P, sounds like a good book anyway from what i hear

Yea ive read conflicting interviews about the original novel, the later interviews all seem to indicate that they are a little concerned about legal action from the original writers estate, wich is probably why they are distancing themselves from it now

I?ve actually read the book years ago and i can suggest everyone to read it too. It has very deep content, related to reallife as well. I dont think that the game has anything to do with it.

it most assuredly does not. i think they might as well change the name at this point.

No point, if it dosnt then its just a name, but its a name that the public and the press are aware of, if they changed it it could hurt their development hype cycle

My mother just returned from the library (sis needed books for homework or something...) and handed me brave new world... i didn't realise she actually payed attention to anything i say :shock: ... still, gotta love that woman

Hey, if anyone is interested in reading it and can't be bothered to leave their gaming station to go find the book i happened across this whilst looking for information on huxley and possible leaked beta information (to no avail i might add)
