Coordinating A Server For This Community

Well, my clan will hopefully incorporate some form of leadership and discipline. (50 DKP MINUS!!!!) I've been in some clans and most of the time the chain of command is solid. I did lead a clan for a while and I got respect from my clannies.

Respect depends on how you act and the personalities of the troops. You prove yourself, people will follow you.

I co-lead a clan for Gears and I suck at the game, it's all about forming a community of friends who interact for the better of the clan and not for the better of themselves.

Clan managing is hard work..but u get many goods...u/leader/ can deside ppl live in the game..Only leader/a good one/can gother stupid players with nice chars.....Clan leader got the missions of leadeing sheeps lol....Friendship with members of clan is good thing...U muss become friend with most itelegent and powerfull clan member...if not ...and they dont like u...he can start a riot..and it ll lead to clan destruction..Having a more powerfull member then u in the clan../more powerfull then leader/..is bad idea...ppl wont listen to u../..I was a lead of clan in DoD:Source..but i gave up,because i was better then anyone of my clan and they didnt obey me properly..I prefer to join clans and become friend with leader and co-leaders....showing that ur powerfull and intelegent can make them respect u or..hate u...still we are humans...

My clan isnt established yet but its gonna be called E.D.C Eska Defence Corps i cllin it that caz im hoping that it'll attract really good players (spec ops) and stupid players (front line infantry) hopefully it'll be a major power in the war
imagin running your own military army.

For good recruitment you don't need a "good" name. The name I used for my clan was WMD for weapons of mass deception. We did pretty good, but no one was joining clans after a while because the game died (Warrock). The biggest thing to attract more people is to show you're serious about gaming with the people you already have and show you're active. If you're not active, you won't get many recruits.

Lol...all the dirty work is in the hand of te "stupid" players......some kids around 11-13 who love close range classes are good as a main force and a bait...send a tank/stupid kid/...enemy phanton is taking a shot on him...ur phantom hides near by...By shooting he reavels him self..u kill him..he doesnt kill ur tank because of the much armor....Job done....So...runing ur own army needs the money...My point is..in WoW my friends guild is very powerfull...and to keep all the good players/all 68-70/..he and te guild leader makes some kind of partys...Naked DM runs..Stockades..then he spends 100 gold on drink..alkochol in WoW...and give to everyone..they go to the Tavern in elvin forest and chat...Keepng the loyalty and spirit of ur "army" by amusing them with funny things is good...Othe trick to controll stupid players is easy...u find a player..good but a little bit stupid...one that cant manage alone..one that can make good desisions by him self..Inv him to ur clan/guild and introduce him to everyone..in the mean time some ur friends..from other guild or random ppl that u have spoken..make they move..u wisper them to disobey u..and u kick them..Inpresing the new "stupid" members in ur clan/guild is a good thing..They follow the first inpression like little kids..So good luck in managing guild..if u need a phantom pilot sapiens call :P

yes but im hopin if my clan forms that people will take it seriously couz if so they can go and get pwnd by another clan.And i dont think that clans should be anything like wow most people join clans for fun of it in huxley its serious
and for names sake theres a clan on Wow called "naughty" is a horrible name for a clan or what

I ll call my clan Jelly destruction force...i dont thinks its funny...Huxley is a game..ffs games are made for fun..not for seriosnes...I prefer the funny pro playing..playing normal with humor..so chill out go take a beer and watch a film...Wait for Huxley..buy it ,rull it..Good luck...

Heh i cant wait for this idea to materialise, ofc will be hard for a clan leader because of time he will have to invest in organising clan, searching for players, listening everybody's ideas good or bad and maintaining all that bunch of players united and focused on same goals but...if he succeeds he will have benefits also.
I think squads will have an important role because as it concerns me i would like to play in same squad formation most of the time so if players will join a clan will be nice to be like squad joining.
Duno if its a good to play both factions on same server because of all hate and flame that will come (ill personally like this - keeps me tuned dont know about others).
Another thing i would like to happen is that all server community will have acknowledge about eachother (not like in WoW for example where you meet some1 ally or enemy only once in life time, with infinite servers where players merge once/2 month and sorry that i make refferences always to same game but its the most concludent), so we all will have our ambitions and respect/disgrace regarding other players. I welcome here the idea of 1 character per server.
Long time will pass till this becomes reality :(

Nice idea, first of all to the OP.
The name will be Vicious or a derivative of it. (i.e. xxvic1ousxx, Ixvic1ousxI, etc.) I plan on playing an Alternix Avenger.

Personally, I believe that it may be in everyone's interest to first familiarize themselves with the game before considering joining/forming a Clan. Learning to navigate the cities, how to handle one's self in combat and experiencing the strengths and weakness of the races.

For those of you whom already have clans, what is the amount of players you would say are already in your clan?

I think that once I've decided to join a clan, I'll be searching for clans with smaller amount of players. I just find that I work well with small groups of about 5-10 players. Being able to:

• Closely work together on strategies
• Put together versatile combat styles
• Work on communication and team shooting.

Skill, strategy and efficiency amongst a smaller, tighter Clan seem to be more effective than trying to organize a large sum of players.

well my clan will hopefully established before the release of huxley and im doin the EDC any more i want people for a spec ops kinda thing with people who are interested in keeping the feeling of warand following and commencing orders without hesitation and cover each others weaknesses.

Thats pretty cool. A clan organized under military-escque format. Are you planning on organizing your clan under a rank system? Or is everyone equal under the rule of a single or multiple clan leaders?

no ranked formed so new players will start of as privvies and the more seasoned players will be like sarge and can train the privates and maybe ill have a standard issue armour and weopon for new recruits.
