WoW to Huxley

So far I've seen a lot of people refernecing WoW (world of warcraft) to Huxley. I'm just wondering how many people here play WoW? I for one (if all things go right) will be switching from WoW to huxley XD.

Well my first MMO was Planetside but when my Outfit (read:clan) shutdown we all moved to WoW which I've been playing since. I'm already bored with WoW's recent expansion and Lord of the Rings Online doesn't look too promising. At this point I'm regaining my twitch skills on BF2142 until Huxley comes out.

"I'm already bored with WoW's recent expansion" QFT I've gotten extremely tired of the Burning Crusades aswell. Think I might go back to UT2004 and start learning the shooter again. :P

I recently stopped playing WoW. The level 70 endgame is just too boring, more of the same and I am tired of that after 2 years. playing UT2004 now, and huxley seems like a very good game. It has the best of both worlds. Already saving for money to upgrade my comp

I have played WoW since it first came out, and before WoW I was a UT2004 player, before that I was mostly into EQ, and before that it was an older FPS... I go back and forth, when I get tired of RPG pace I play an FPS, when I get tired of FPS I go back to RPG... now huxley seems to be a blend of the both of them, something new to me that isn't as complicated as planetside was, so I'm looking forward to it with great anticipation, I'm likely to upgrade my PC to play it in it's full glory if I like it enough.

hehe I'm thankful to know I'm not alone in the "game jumping" as well. There are some new games out, such as Vanguard, and a few console games here and there that came out not too long ago, although from what I hear Vanguard is a WoW clone, or if you're really, really desperate there's EQ2 which I heard went down the crapper as well...

Been playing some gunzonline international version (that one was free =) international version off gunzonline.com ) between WoW raids while waiting for Huxley. oh yeah, and some maplestory, that one was also free... even though it's a 2D sidescrolling MMO (no monthly fees), it's free *shrugs* and the characters are just oh-so-cute!

if you do play maplestory, I'm on Belocan server, add... I think my mage's name was Annasa? It was either Anassa or Annasa... anyway, add her to friends if you ever do =) you get it for free off maplestory.com, preferably the global/international version (which is in english).

and when i said EQ, then i ment EQ2 i never played maple story tho, and yeah i was looking forword to vanguard, but after years of gaming i really find nowdays mmorpg boring, i mean get a sword/staff and nuke/hit monsters, god damn same thing i mean even tho i didnt play vanguard, then i can name ALOT of weapons in there and ALOt of mobs.... where is the "new game?" :P

Diablo1 = WoW - its the god damn same thing! u still use a sword and u still use the same stafff, u still socket items and u still teleport, u still use healing pots.... and so on...

huxley = new stuff

and if we talk about FPS games, then its ages since i found a real good one after my taste (fast paced) ... i still play ut2k4

hmm... there's a really cheap fast paced one called "Serious Sam" when it came out it only costed $20 which is the main reason it sold so well. When I bought it, the price had dropped down to $10 and it was the gold edition (meaning it came with the expansion)... at any rate, just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's crap. Perhaps that series will hold you over till Huxley? If nothing else UT2004 will never run out of new content due to the community making character models, levels, weapons, mods, new game types etc. so always something there to hold the huxley community over till Huxley comes out, even a nice little RPG mod to make it into an RPGFPS
