Kinda hard to tell since both wont be released for awhile lol. In terms of graphics, Unreal 2007 should come on top, since it isnt mmo and more time in development using the engine.

I may end up getting both if it doesn't require me going without food for several weeks for lack of money... but i feel like a change, MMOFPS sounds very cool, i have enough normal FPSs, in entertainment value they will probably be pretty head to head and the graphics has got to a level where whatever you do with the unreal engine 3 its bound the be pretty amazing so im going with the 'its different' argument

You can't really compare the two. One's pure deathmatch-style play (granted, different TYPES of deathmatch) and another is an MMO.
It's like comparing Half Life 2 and Twilight War.

That's a bit of a daft poll IMO. They're completely different games.
Saying that though, I will be getting both. I've always enjoyed Unreal games, UT2004 was a joy to play, ran like a dream and not a sniff of a crash, ever. And I'm pretty sure it will be released way before Huxley (unfortunately). |

Of course we will all (most) vote for Huxley. Why else would we be here.

lol,
Man, I tried a UT game a while back..I don't know I just don't like that type of gaming. Said guy gets said vehicle or sniper rifle or grenade and insta-gibs you with it. Or, you do the same to him. Thats all fine and dandy if you just want to log on a game for 30 mins and get the thrill of killing someone on a online video multi-player game...then go get some taco bell and a mountain dew. lmao. But, just the term MMOFPS has a very large appeal to me. Thats why I got hooked on Planet Side. I'm sure alot of the Planet Side crew will wind up here if they are not already. I mean, sure...Planet Side made some mistakes, it did'nt get good advertisment, SOE did'nt push it EQ is thier money maker...thier "Baby". But, all that aside you can't log onto another game and get the type of gaming experiance that a MMOFPS has to offer...atm I belive Planet Side is the only one out. We are talking about a FULL SCALE WAR! ...dude thats kick ass just saying it. I don't really know how to say it but ...its certainly a better gaming experiance than loggin on to UT and achiveing absoulty nothing but how ever many kills you got in 15 mins or how ever long the matches are. It's just a more intense type of FPS if you ask me. |

They both look incredible (I will end up owning both  ) but this is a Huxley website...and Huxley is also an MMO...in my opinion thats WAY better than you and fifteen other guys shooting each other up.

Yea, completely different types of games. The depth in DM games comes from playing with teammates and working on improving at the game. There's no set big-picture objectives except the goals you set for yourself. Some people do play DM games simply because they can hop in in 30 seconds, play for 45 mins, and then leave instantly. MMO's tend to take much more time to get things done in 1 sitting. Hell I know a guy who used to play MMO's hardcore, but would hop into a UT server whenever he didn't have the time to organize a big raiding party.
And of course, the more similar the gameplay between the two, the more likely it is that you'll see people crossing back and forth a lot. |

Granted the diff between 2003 and 2004 isn't all that much. However the new UT engine is going to blow the last one out of the water. I'm personally going to be getting Huxley and I doubt I'll need another FPS for a very long time, but that's not to say that 2007 isn't going to be a great title.
