Just played Gears o War

Just played gears of war and got an idea... wouldn't it be badass if huxley played like gears of war. it would be plenty tactical and still be somewhat fast paced for those who prefer that gamelpay.

GOW was made to be a single player console shooter. Everything about it was designed to that very specific purpose (well they had co-op in mind too but that's still not player vs player). That's why it works so well. Trying to move that design concept to the PC wouldn't work very well (Pariah is proof of that).

Besides, you can still utilize cover effectively in fast paced games without taking it to the extreme of run-stop-shoot-run-stop-shoot Time Crisis style. One of the key concepts in ANY shooter is that you want to take shots at the opponent while not giving them shots at you, so if someone wants to run from cover to cover while taking shots, it can be effective if they learn how to utilize it.

gears of war is a great game, good blast multiplayer, but huxley woudl not suit it wat so ever. gears of war is far to linear,,, the gameplay was designed for small maps. plus 3rd person only sometimes works, wud be too risky in my eyes

yup dat wouldnt work i guess plus it should only be 1st person in battle but i do want 3rd person once in a while(maybe no battle zones) cus i wanna see my baddass player....back to topic lol but yeah GoW good game not a good concept for a MMO plus if third person would be incorporated it be like planetside where yu can hide for cover an wait till so0ome one runs toward an yu see that an pwn him.....yall PS people member this
