we have all played MMORPG's before, and in turn you will know that the textboards will sometimes have so much text, in a highly populated area, that it would be impossible to hear all those people through your earpiece/mic... i hope they will find a way to make it to where you can select to hear only a person or two.... or somethin.....
i dont want to see a rediculously powerful weapon availale to everyone... ex: halo 2 - rockets or a 1 shot sniper... |

Its a lot to ask but:
-have mounts like in WoW, futuristic cars instead ( i think its alreayd in the game) - not keep the ENTIRE game in the city, it'll give paranoia if all you see are huge buildings everywhere, open space is always fun. |

Try watching some of their videos, it might help you get a view of the places you may just fight in.

Hey everyone new to these forums but im really excited!!! love the idea of MMMOFPS, its what i havve been waiting for!!
With that said.... some things i would and wouldnt like to see: Things i would Not like to see: - Awarding for solely time played, instead of a balance of time and skill (Not WoW..haha) - No one shot weapons. - Severe imbalance due to weapons and armors. - Few glitches and lag issues. - A boat load of other things i cant think of at the moment its late... haha Thing i Would like to see: - Customizable characters - Fair and balance gameplay - Advanced and intuitive AI - Customizable weapons and armor within reason - Smooth, high intensity gameplay Just suprised me plz haha |

the things i would like to see would have to be:
- Large Envirement - Balanced Classes - Balanced weapons - Balanced armor - some quests that requires alot of teamwork/Strategy. and i would like websen to be really active in updating the game and etc. the things i WOULDNT like to see would be: - quests that requires gathering things and doesnt need any strategy to do. -no Unbalanced weapons/Armor/Races/classes, would not like to see a class that could use some end game weapon that no other class can use. and that's pretty much it for now |

Things I'd like to see:
1. Numerous character movement options (jump, crouch, prone, roll, lean, etc.) I hate being limited on that. 2. Realistic damage to vehicles and players (shooting a hand does less damage than a chest-shot, for example) 3. Interactive environment like the typical exploding barrels and sentry guns and ladders and stuff. It'd be pretty sweet to have walls that break down after X amount of explosive damage or something, but I'm not holding my breath for it. 4. Awards atleast trying to focus on skill. As an example, awards given for overall accuracy after X amount of kills. Back when I played BHD, I wasn't too happy that I managed a 28% - 34% overall accuracy rating with a sniper rifle (one of the highest) for a while, and got nothing for it. The thing is in respect to kills so that a person doesn't just sit there waiting for sure-shots and get maybe 3 kills a game, therefore giving a boost to their accuracy. To hit the minimum kill requirement that way would take too much time to be worth it (months probably). So skill is a must for that reward. Just an idea, and an example of the kind of awards I'd like to see. 5. Some way to counter-act stat-padding. That stuff just pisses me off. 6. Quick responses for fixing bugs and glitches. 7. Strict, swift, and effective cheating policy. 8. Being able to fire while jumping, climbing, and swimming. 9. An easy way to figure out the drop rate on the bullets. It's annoying when you can't figure out where your bullet went. 10. The traditional and lovely 1-hit knife kill =) If you can get that close and get a slice off, they deserve to get killed. Things I DON'T want to see: 1. 1-Shot Sniper Rifles. It should only be a 1-hit kill for a headshot and possibly a small percentage of chance for a torso shot 1-hit kill (that is realistic ya know). A 50 calibur round to the chest does some heavy damage. Maybe only 5% chance though, cuz I don't want it overpowered. 2. Assault rifles able to fire as far as sniper rifles with nearly the same amount of accuracy. It's ridiculous how crappy some games' deviation systems are. 3. Underpowered explosives. If a grenade lands at your feet, you're supposed to die. Simple as that. 4. Like others have mentioned, an "Easy Mode" class or weapon or vehicle. 5. A showy game. I'm more interested in the gameplay and functionality and fun than how crazy this weapon's graphics are, or how amazing that vehicle sounds and looks. Looks don't mean anything if the gameplay sucks. 6. Fair battle areas. A map's build is just as important as the player's build. An extreme example that'd never happen: Team A starts in a canyon with a bottleneck, Team B starts in the rocky hills outside the canyon. Team A would get slaughtered simply cuz the map sucks. Like I said though, extreme example. And I don't know how the BGs will function, like if there will be plenty of maps and what-not anyways... 7. Last thing I can think of for now: I really don't want to see chat channel spamming, though I'm not sure how to counter it with so many players to server-cluster. Those of you who played WoW after the linked trade and LFG channels know what I mean. If you can't tell after reading this post, I'm more interested in the battling and FPS portion of the game than the MMO and PvE stuff Last edited by KRSD; 09-11-2006 at 08:20 PM. |

I dont want to see people not caring if they die because they just can respawn.
I hope theres more to it than that like when you die and respawn your weakend, move slower, vision blurry and on top of that I think you should randomly drop one item when you die. But you always have 1 or 2 safe slots in your inventory or somthing for your most precious items. You should also loose some skill points and recieve damage to your weapon. After so much damage to your weapon and if you dont get it repaired it should break. If anyone played Neocron then you know what I mean, I think the way it worked in neocron was perfect. I want death to mean somthing, not just like other games where you respawn and the only loss is you have to run back to the fight or wait for the next round.

Well lets see:
What I want to see: -Interactive Enviroment- What I mean by this is that if I fire a rocket at a wall the wall should blow to pieces or if you crash your plane into a tower that tower should recieve visible dmamage and debris should fall. Another words, I should be watching the enviroment as much as I am looking at the enemy for potential threats. -Skill Base vs Gear Base- While having better gear should give a decent edge a new player should whose skills are better should be able to take out a vet. -Balanced PvP- The game should first be balanced for PvP then let the PvE part of it fill in. -PvP Rewards- One thing that would help improve PvP involvement is having a peice of equipment that can be stolen from one faction and give benefits to another. The equipment can be stolen back. ( ie similar to DAOC) -Realistic Combat- IF a sniper hits someone in the head..that guy had better drop or be significantly damaged. One thing I would love to see is the ability to toss a grenade into a window or turrent opening of a vehicle and watch it blow... |

not one shot? then why use sniper FFS?! that was the dumbest thing I've ever read actually(nothing personal) but really, a sniper is in the game to bring down enemys on:
1. Long Range 2. One headshot I mean... c'mon! |

Or to merely damage enemies at long range where normal sights would not give the needed accuracy. Then there's all of the gameplay impacts of extreme range 1 shot kills. So no, his post was not dumb, however yours lacks any support and merely attacks another.

My first post. I'll try not to make enemies.
Things I want to see: -One shot sniper kills for weak enemies (can't remember what those monster things are called) -2 or 3 shot sniper kills for PVP or stronger Human enemies -A shooting gallery to practice using your weapons. This would help with factoring the lead distance needed. You could even have different ranges for different types of weapons. A sniping range to see how far a bullet might drop; a shotgun range where you run a scenario of clearing a few rooms and shoot at targets in each room, etc. -Highly custimizable characters, maybe even allow some physical changes even after you've made you character (in case you see someone who has a cool scar or tattoo that you didn't know you could add, make it so you can change your existing character instead of creating a whole new one) -Weapon variety, so the guns would be another way to make your character unique. Things I don't want to see: -Lag -This game not being as cool as I know it's going to be |

mostly want to see what some people before me mentioned: Balanced gameplay.
I'm also hoping they try to balance out infantry vs. vehicles a little - perhaps an anti-vehicle weapon of some sorts, in UT2004 I remeber they had the AVRiL (if that's what it was called) |

- Sephie edit: oh yeah, I also remember it being an option for middle-weapon in UT2004 where weapon would appear to be held more toward the middle |

Hey I'm new to these forums (first post :]) but some things I would like to see are:
Mutiple battlegrounds (not just one field where we all fight) More than one type of BG (capture the flag, deathmatch, and so on.) Noticable increasing dificulty with increasing levels Major differences in weapons and vehicles as levels increase Easy comminication with other players And for a faster release date :P Some things I woundn't want are: Overpowered classes/races More than a 1:2 ratio on classes/races (even though it's something the designers really can't control) Everyone and thing looking the same cause it's "cool" And the same quest over and over again to level. |
