These are all things that I would like, to build on you list I would like to see:
-Extreamly Interactable Environment (Doors, Destructable Objects...ect.) -Variation of Character (Everyone does not look the same) -Player/Guild Housing that is interactable -Vehicals (Transportation wise, and combat) -Many different guns -Dungeons *for lack of a better term* (to where you and a squad or so could go up against some hybrids, or opposite faction) Things that I would not like to see: -One class to end all classes -One gun to end all guns -One style of play to end all styles of play ...so to say :P -Mandalore- Mercenary for hire |

To keep it simple I would say for it to really work nice they need to have it extremely balanced but with great rewards for players who have played for a long time without the rewards being something like one shot kill snipers and such.

As much as I like PvP, I also like the story line in PvE. To me the game seems to have all one could ask for in PvP, but for PvE I hope there is an in-depth and intriguing story line, as well as mini side stories, that'll make me want to play PvE.

hey guys, im new to the forums, but ive been following the progession of huxley for a while now. Ive been playing EvE online for nearly a year now, but i wanna give huxley a go and mite start playing it over eve.
the one thing that i would like to see would b a battle arena area for pure balanced pvp....same skill points wise characters going for 1v1s....group combat, etc. mayb like a tourny/championship kinda thing the one thing that i really REALLY hope doesnt happen is the blob as its known in EVE....were 50 players gang up to take on a gang of 10.....its not fun for anyone, i know its kind of unavoidable. i know there can b quite alot of debate about how big a blob can b and stuff like that, i dont mind, just so long as its not stupidly ridiculious.... ohhhh and i dont want lag either |

The first and foremost thing I want Huxley to be:
Easy to learn, hard to master. It's the basic edict of a good gameplay that leads to all sorts of goodness like replayability and ease of introduction.

I absolutely, positively do not want to see player base segmentation/fragmentation similar to World of Warcraft.
The raiding game mechanic that rewards people who can play for long hours (skill be damned) is complete nonsense, and I'll dump Huxley in a heartbeat if it looks like the game is designed similarly. The game should reward skill, teamwork and ingenuity. Game balance and progression designs that rely on time played and acquisition of items are the worst in gaming today. World of Warcraft, and Everquest, and all of their clones have created some of the biggest assholes on the Internet (or at least given them a public venue to practice their jerkiness) and I'll be very sad if Huxley creates an environment where similar behavior is rewarded. It's also critical that Huxley be smooth. Very smooth. The fanciest game in the world will be instantly unenjoyable if the gameplay is not fluid and the physics weak. I just came off of the Battlefield 2142 demo and it's horrible - my player snags himself on every object in the game, sprint is jerky, graphics are poorly optimized and the entire experience is a sloppy mess. My final bit of insight is simple - get the basic stuff right. You can always add content later, so focus on nailing the fundamentals of smooth gameplay and a framework for growth. Since i don't know or have played any other mmofps im a bit scared how lag issues are going to be dealt with. :l In the demostration video we hear that that the system should be able to handle 5000 players per cluster, and that seems as alot to me, but i hope not that the game will start to be laggy after a few months of population cause' that would be fatal for the genre fps.
So as vbl said, smooth gameplay and graphics is essential. Especially when it comes to the fps genres fast gameplay. So what i want to see: -|- : Smooth gameplay (Rather smaller city parts and less lag.) -|- : A nice and easy-to-use HUD.(since we got a centered cross-hair) (Maybe also a kind of fullscreen menu with a mouse, which you bring up by pressing ex. "tab") -|- : Physics ! A mmo-FPS with physics ! :D I want to be able to run around fighting and blowing stuff up, destroying that nice little bar because of a fight etc. ^^ What i don't want to see is limited ability to explore the world and meet new ppl everywhere (doesn't make sense) But if you look at guildwars i was actually really disappointed of not being able to run around and meet a populated world, but only being able to explore a private copy of the world with a small party. (hope it makes sence now) Well thats my 2 cents (or whatever that saying is) Hau - Combat Medic PS: Healer class = Medic class :D! That could be awesome :D |

Barely clothed female characters, with exactly the same "AC values" as the Ironclad male versions. It's unrealistic, unbalanced and not to mention downright pathetic. It's as far from a futuristic Sci-Fi theme as you can get. If I wanted to look at elven toon in loinclothes, I'd play WoW *shivers*

Please...for the love of GOD....no catering to RPG players at the expense of FPS gamers... example:
RPG gamer says Armor A plus Weapon B = win Now by what we FPS gamers like to call "The Right Way" (and I hope Webzen agrees with this) FPS gamer says Armor A + Weapon B + reflexes + aim + tactics = win. Really, when you think about it, to ask for balance in a game like this, especially when you have different hit box sizes, different empire specific technology, different tactical advantages and different weaknesses to consider, is going to lead down the slippery slope of catering to the people who cry the loudest. |

Including most of all that was said above which is all good and validpoints. I want to see more social interaction. Wouldn't it be nice after coming back from a long mission to hang out at the local bar with some of you friends.
There is antoher interesting thing I saw back in some of the cgi animation videos. On of the videos the characters along with guns were sporting melee weapons as well. One woman had dual machine pistols and a katana. I wonder if webzen has thought about the idea of putting melee into the combat of huxley as well. It wouldn't be too bad of an idea (i.e. Unreal championship 2). |

What you realy want to do with this game is take out the not-so-great part about each gender and keep the good so basically:

Love this game, i agree with Vbl. I've played WoW for months now and its a great game, but like every other game it has its fault. Anyway here is what i wanna see What i want to see in Huxley: - Been able to walk into shops/houses/buildings etc. - Interact with other players/ talk in close proximity - Variety of weapons/armor to choose from - A dynamic environment/world, meaning one big country/city etc kinda like WoW, no loading screens except for instances/dungeons - Character Customisation, where every |
