Hi guys I am a new member to this forum.
I am a former WoW player (Casual) and loved the game but recently it has lost its touch and isnt very much fun . Here are a few things i would like to see in Huxely

1. An extensively customizable UI. This is the only thing I havnt seen posted yet and IMO is a must have
2. A relatively large world to play in. A must have for MMOs
3. A good variation of weapons, armour, ammo, etc...
4. Weapons that are naturally overpowered (Ex. Snipers/Rocket launchers) have some sort of diminishing quality about them, like long reloads or lower shots per rounds. Plz dont reduce their power this seems to happen alot in newer FPS and is sad and unrealistic.
5. Vehicles that are custmizable as you level
6. Alot of good things have been posted already so i didnt really have to post much.


Things I dont want to see

1. Large time consuming instances that are the only way to get the best armour and weapons in the game...
2. Weapons that are over powered gettin there power taken away( Ex. Sniper headshot doesnt equal one hit or taking the Area of Effect damage away from the rockets....) I know people tend to hate these weapons.
3. Plz do not put in the bikini armour graphics for girls. This is not only totally unrealistic its brings a huge class of immature kids to the game who like to play as "hot video game chicks". Consider giving them armour that would actually be ARMOUR. I really don't wanna see a repeat of WoW/Lineage2 ....
4. No im not sexist . But guys and girls do not have the same attributes. Take time in evening out the classes stats/abilities for men/women. It makes the game more realistic.
5. Most of the other topics I dont like have been mentioned alread.




I look forward to a beta. Im hoping this game turns out to be awsome

Heheh. WoW freferences FTW. really - shamans are Ok still if you know how to play them, they whine because they didn't get anything new that was super uber while the warlocks and many other classes except for warrior and priest got something really uber as a 41 pt talent thing. But I digress, we should give webzen a chance before worrying about such, thier not Blizzard after all =)

- Extremely customizable characters. Since You'll be face to face most of the time in towns, I don't want to see the same 10 hairstyles and 4 faces
- Game modes. Not just limited to Deathmatch and Capture the Base. I also want mini games, like holding your ground til reinforcement arrive
- Upgradeable weapons
- Mobile Suites, such as Starcraft has with space marines
- A lot of quests

I want a good game that you have to have skill to be good at, a huge world with awesome interactive and destructable enviroments and no god items that take away from the rest if the game.

Things that I would like to see:
- minigames making the game more addicting [billard on unreal 3 engine :D]
- as said before - extremely customizable chars
- a little bit of acrobatics and hand to hand combat ;]

Customization
Interactive environment
Lots of noobs in my sniper scope

Things I don't want to see:
Magic (Nano technology whatever.) Unrealistic stuff that doesn't fit in

The things I want:

1) Great PvP. I'm a hardtothecore Battlefield 2 fan and to have 200vs200 is going to be rock!

2) Balanced.

3) Fast paced. I like my games fast and hard.

Things I don't want:

1) LAG. I hate lag. I can do good if only my PC is on, but for some games when you lag you die.

2) Unbalanced.

3) Buying in game money with real money. I'm ok with paying up to $15 a month, but I hate the people who have the money have the best items. I hate every game that uses this.

okey sooo,

1. Hardcore FPS gamers that are fun to play with
2. HUGE PvP options
3. an alternative for playing PvE
4. HUGE city, with option for your own appartment
5. being able to creat costum matches like in Halo2

Default What huxley needs?

Huxley needs this to be succesfull:
  • Persistant battlefields Very important!
  • Reload on weapons (Not Quake style 400 mags)
  • Friendly fire system
  • Skills Things that enhance your character thats not weapons, vehicles or armour. Name it what you want; augmentations, spells, implants, powers etc...
  • Unique characters Lots of things to choose and you cant have them all, no optimal builds
  • No queues for vehicles
  • Hitboxes on models Headshot, legshot, armshot
  • Character roles Ex: Engineer, hacker, medic, pilot, demolitions etc
  • Strategy Goals to achieve in the bigger picture
  • Consequences If you win or take over something it has consequences
  • Physics system Cool physics that make you blend into the world. Ex you cant land your plane on a wire over the street
  • Landscape and City combat War inside the city as well as on the "countryside"
  • Inventory To carry equipment, ammo and items, a limit
  • Crafting Player made things. Can be as easy as custom vehicles, armour, gadgets or guns
  • Economy
Add or subtract what you want to see!

Personally the only thing i dont want to see is 1 man operatable unstoppable machines, like the BFR's in Planetside if any of you played that.. They were basically huge mechs that crushed everything and completely ruined the game.

-Good clan support
-Voice communication
-Well designed battlefields
-A need for tactics
-Earn your rank and equipment!

Don't:
-Unbalanced classes/races/etc.
-Super-noob experience system (Perfect character in two weeks)
-B*itch about "team stacking", get a clan!
-Make winning fights worthless

This is what I think...
there are enough mmos out there to see what was good and what isnt so good. and I am sure they will have the beta period where we will get to put in the 2 cents once we finally get to play the game... right now you only can hope that webzen will make a game that you like.

But you gotta understand that they are trying something new at the same time...

I just want to see them take the best of both worlds from FPS's and MMO's...

And also understand that everyone might not like the same things about the game. What they should be doing about that is making the game open to all of the people interested in both MMO's and FPS's.

This is no easy task.

I want to see a big meta game... just to know how the people are helping the faction grow and become strong.

The only problem with meta games is that people tend to want to switch sides to the winning team. Though it looks like Webzen is taking this in account by mentioning that it will be highly likely that there would be 1 character per server


The problem is... I /hate/ having one character per server. It will make cross faction switching a lot more difficult when you have something like a 'outfit fun night.' that includes going onto a seperate faction just for a change in pace for the night

What I want-
  • Economy
  • The feeling that the players can affect the game for everyone; be it through capturable cities, or technology that players can fight for, search for, or put experience into (maybe players could set there experience to go to there faction, which unlocks abilites for the whole faction).
  • A huge map
  • Good clan support
What I don't want
  • A tactic or class that is over powered in PvP
  • Camp based gameplay (No one wants to camp the same NPC for one item for 5 hours)
  • Bunny hopping
  • LAG- I don't want to be in a fight, see a lag message, then be dead
