Who thinks that huxley fighting will be like Unreal or atleast similar or that they might make it different?.

It looks a lot like the Half-life mod Natural Selection, for those who played it. Armored marines against aliens who could gestate into various forms.

So I'm guessing shooting, as well as clawing and biting and who knows what.

well I don't think that it will be like natural selction because I just watched a pvp vid and it seems like unreal which is amazingly fun. So im gonna guess myself that its just like unreal unless anyone else has any idea of what they could do to make pvp fighting different.

i already asked this somewhere but i cant rember wat post. Will you be able to shoot people in the market are etc ? wud be cool if you cud .

There is probably gonna be markets that aren't at the main city that you can engage in combat with the other faction and I think some where I read that hybrids will once in a while attk the main cities and can attempt at taking over small towns around that world.

Unless someone can point to a statement from the developers, everything is all speculatory (and sometimes even just plain wrong).

Just keep that in mind with all this "I heard/someone said/etc" type stuff. Take it with a grain of salt.

That one's easy. They've detailed the style of gameplay as well as shown videos of the gameplay itself. It's a pretty easy bet what the fighting will be like.

Other towns and persistant parts of the world havent' been touched on. Anywhere. That's not 100%, but I've seen neither hide nor hair about the outside environments besides the battlegrounds which is the only areas they've outlined. Even the power stations, mines and bases talked about are all within the battlegrounds.

Aww bummer. was hopin' this game would play alot like the trailer (people using cover and height for a strategic advantage, havin to set up for the kill, dudes ropin' in from the ceiling, cool looking vehicle insertions etc.) but I saw that gameplay vid and it just looks like UT with the hoping around and what not. Ill prolly still check it out because im tired of fantasy MMOs but i wish it had more to do with tactics and not just a frag fest like quake or UT cuz i have those games and if i wanted to play them i could (and without a monthly fee mind you). Graphics seemed less impressive in pvp demo than i remember from the other e3 demo (where you could see individual hairs on that soldiers head)

Looks like a cool game. just hope its not everyone hopin around with a portable rocket launcher.

well thats the pvp, and if you think about it pvp will always be like that
but im sure there pve will be fun you just got to play with people that like to pretend there in teh mist of a battle and need cover such as me that how i play BF2 lol.

No jumping are you kidding me ? if there was no jumping in this game i wouldnt buy it. I hate games where your stuck to the floor, not that it matters casue youve already seen that there is definately jumping in the game and they wont change that... i agree with " Buried " sort your aiming out

I won't mind the jumping as long as it's not as mad as some of the unreal games get where it's pure bunny hopping mayhem, a mixture between the smooth slow CSS and unreal oughta be fine with me.
