Well i don't think that there will be any medics and i highly doubt there will be. But one thing i can say, ever played America's Army? Where 1-5 shots and you are dead.. but there are medics, they can prevent you from bleeding to death or if you just got shot once you start to bleed and if you bleed from green to yellow you would move slower since you are injured, so medics can prevent bleed. Trust me medcics are usefull specialy if like in BF where they can revive!

if there are healers(medics) and there probably not .. I hope u have like a defibrillator like in 2142 and remember u could only take 5 weapons into battle so the defib. will probly take up a weapon slot .. so its not like u just press heal and their healed u probly gata change yur weapons till u equip the defib. and aim it at the dead person and revive.. between all that u cud be getting dmged and maby killed

It's like like you'll have a line of enforcers and a line of priests behind them casting magical spells. I'd hope they would be more like oh hey I see a guy who's running around with half health, I'll go heal him. Or maybe the whole drop down little heal packs or something. I'd like to see some healing in the game just for fun, nothing like regular medieval fantasy mmorpgs where you have the tank, healer, dps. just a little side healer for spot heals if someone needs it. |

well i hope it ant like wow wen u target a guy and press heal would be kinda weird in the middle of a fight and u see this priest healing a guy and yellow light comes from him lol reminds me of wow but this isnt wow:P

hahaha no I really doubt it would be anything like regular MMORPGs. But in other games with a medic class such as the battlefield series, a medic can take out his little medic bag or whatever and point at a friendly who is close enough and it'll heal them over time as long as he keeps holding it on them.
It works better if you just got into a fight and have low health or something because getting shot takes away life WAY WAY faster than a medic could heal you. So I wouldn't think an FPS would have a medic that could heal you through damage like in RPGs. More along the lines of a medic healing you back to full health after a big fight so you can get back in there and kill more people. |

I am interested in what happens when u die...where do u respawn at? and will they have adv medics so u cna heal fatsre like on Planetside.. I am a 3 year user on planetside.. and I quit it when I heard about Huxley.. so it better atleast be as good as Halo3 if not better!

They might have certain medpacks that can heal you for more hp but definitely nothing that is going to let you fight out a battle while someone stands behind you and heals through the damage. That just wouldn't be right for an FPS lol. I'm guessing the heals will either be slow heals over time, like a teamate is bandaging you up or something and it slowly bumps your hp up. Or someone can throw down health packs that just heal a bit of your hp when you run over them. Either would be fine with me, or a combination of the two for that matter. |

yea to think about it the game is way to fast for medics wouldn't have time to heal cause the gameplap is just to fast if it was slower like BF it would work

I would rather call it being a combat medic which would be a cool class like support but carries bandages has also the combat medic could carry a defibrillator the weapon for this class would be a smg or something that doesn't pack much heat. The idea of this class would be very useful. The class it self is used in realistic combat fps games like Battlefield, Americas Army, Also in a mod for half life name Firearms. I'm sure their are other fps games out their that also use these classes.

i would like the idea where you could put like a health regenerator into an armor slot that slowly heals you so if u r in a fight you dont have a huge advantage but if you kill the immediate threat, you can "chill" behind something untill you reach a heath level suitable for survival before you run away. kindof ike halo's sheild as to where it regenerates after a little fight but it will not give you a huge advantage as i said to a battle that is going on unless you are not dammaged for a while like if their reloading or ur behind cover. this is where the enforcer's skill would work best because he can rush in and rush out. the in for the kill, and the out to recharge health. but like all great things there are recalls. this health regeneration should not come into play while other skills are being used like to say a phantom gets shot butr goes invis and just heals himself. THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF NO OTHER SKILLS ARE IN USE. but this is just my idea... so w/e.
Edit--- medpacs/medstimulants from the gratly wanted medic profession could be used in the same way. ur mate runs up to you with the syringe(or however its spelled) filled with some red liquid and injects it into ur arm. this gives u a while of heath regeneration but it wears off if you use another skill because of somekind of reaction i guess. that would be sweet to... and then the opposing team should be able to use it as well possilby?... like rocket the ppl camping in there and then take over the haling post that last for a little while.... or maybe once you kill the medic the skill fades away... and the avengers from opposing teams could gather intelligence on where your haling base/area is at and it shows up on the mini map(if there is one...). that would be cool.

An AoE healing spell seems a little too much like an RPG to me.
I really think medics should stick to only being useful maybe when you're trying to run away and heal a little in the process. or after you've found cover and have time to sit and let someone heal you back to full health. I could see a group regen. think MAYBE as one of the squad benifits for when you stick together, but even that seems a bit unfair unless it's only a real small amount of HP.

I think the Enemy Territory system would work well (wolfET, not the atrocity of Quake Wars). With medics sacrificing ammo for carrying med packs and the ability to revive (only to half health...until you hit rank 3 medic then you get full revives). This comes to mind because I see comments that Huxley will be too fast for healing, but WolfET was on the Quake 3 engine and it worked beautifully.
