I'm Really Worried About this Game

I for one, am worried about Huxley. The balance is completely off. And is being published by ijji.com. First of all, a game this big should not be published by a publisher this small. How the hell are they going to afford stable servers to play on? Low latency is crucial for this type of game. Plus, a hardcore MMOFPS doesn't resonate well among the ijji goers, who are typically more interested in writing fan fiction than actually playing. Plus, this "free to play, pay for extra stuff" payment model is a load of crap and will never work in the USA. It may work in Korea, thats fine and all, but it will never work here. Hopefully Huxley will be like every other MMO and charge $50 +$15 a month. They have to pay for those servers somehow.

Secondly, the balance seems to be really bad right now. Phantoms are overpowered, Avengers are next to worthless, and there is an uber freeze gun. Its just hard to get excited with all these factors stacking against it.

dude call down.....one word ''BETA'' they need to test everything and balance them....some time a weapon like the freezer become too powerfull but in the next patch its a piece of s**t lol

everything in this game is nearly finish exept the balance....keep in mind that they didnt even annonced a release date.....3-6 month of balance and the game is perfect. ( ive been in like 20 closed beta and some alpha )

and finaly i hope its gonna be like others MMO 15$ a month

I haven't seen any information about them choosing a micro transaction way of paying for Huxley.

I know they were trying to choose between micro transactions and having a monthly fee, but I don't think they've chosen yet. And isn't ijji actually a pretty huge company?

As for balance, like RGPJ23 said, it's beta. Every single came isn't balanced in beta. And honestly, there are still even a whole bunch of things that need balance after the game is released. There's just no way to test a game for every little imbalance without throwing it out into the market and waiting for thousands of hatefilled complaints.

Big things like really overpowered classes can be nerfd or buffed before release but there's still going to be some things that need changing. You just gotta have a little patience (in our case, a lot of patience).

IJJI... small? No way! IJJI is owned by NHN, NHN owns the Korean site Hangame.com, and the Chinese Hangame, I think it's called Ourgame, AND the Japanese Hangame. Not to mention all of those sites are ranked #1 in those countries, they're rich!

Huxley being published by ijji worries me as well, i've never been happy with an ijji game before...and something tells me Huxley won't be different if ijji sucks money out of customers by making you pay for guns instead of just the fkin subscription.
